Summary: The cabin was beautiful and in a great location. However the home could have been cleaned better in relation to floors and much of the carpet and rugs looked very dated. The beds were not comfortable and could use a topper or a new mattress.

Summary: First of all, the house wasn't marked very well. If you miss your cabin, you are backing down a gravel road with a cliff on one side. Very scary if you're not used to the roads. I definitely do not recommend trying to find the house in the dark. Most importantly, the house was filthy. There was a paper on the toilet seats showing that it had been sanitized, but the toilets had not been cleaned and there was hair all over the backs of the seats. The carpets were filthy and stained. There was an inch of dust and dirt on everything in the house. Anything that we used in the kitchen had to be thoroughly scrubbed before using and things were just thrown in any cabinet. Every cabinet was full of food crumbs and dirt. Considering the amount of the cleaning fee for a weekend stay, the house needs a thorough cleaning and organizing of the items in the cabinets. The hot tub is set to not exceed 99 degrees. If you looking to hang and relax on a cool night, 99 degrees is not very warm. The cabin is advertised as having a beautiful view of Beech Mountain. The surrounding trees are so high that you could not see anything. You can see Beech Mountain from the cloudy window on the 3rd floor if you look closely. With all the extra fees and taxes, the total came to almost 2 1/2 times the daily amount advertised. If we had a choice and had not been there for a family funeral, I would never ever pay this much for a dirty cabin in a not so desirable area.

Summary: It's a shame that such a beautiful cabin is in such a state of neglect and dirt! Unacceptable the conditions in which we found everything, the unclean kitchen with food remains everywhere, the refrigerator with food stains, the pots and pans dirty from long ago, the old and dirty coffee pot everywhere! The bed linen is old and much of it is torn, the accumulated dirt everywhere is unacceptable, we had to clean because we couldn't find a place to go. It is a shame that after months of planning this vacation we have had such a hard time. I would love to pass the photos that I take so that another family does not go what we went through and if we add that we are in the time of COVID the truth was very stressful, no matter how much we took measures, we are very afraid of having stayed there but we had no choice. That cabin hasn't been cleaned in months! The carpets are super dirty ... the worst thing that we reported the problem and they sent a person who only said that he would clean again and with new lingerie and he never came back when we called again they told us that they could not do anything because that person said that he had cleaned and had left us clean lingerie! THE SERVICE IS SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

Summary: We definitely enjoyed our stay and the views are amazing! The hot tub was nice and clean. It was also nice to have televisions in every bedroom. Our only complaint was the microwave not working.

Summary: Good amenities. Great location. Kitchen needed updates but minimal. The rug is worn out and it looks bad. The cooktop was so greasy and I had to clean it by myself. Need better silverware and dishes. The grill was very dirty and greasy that I had to buy special cleaning spray and cleaned it by myself Everything else was really good.

Summary: We found the cabin to be clean and neat. Everything we needed was there and the cabin was supplied with all the towels, linens and extras. The cool days and nights was a pleasant treat from the 95 degree days at home. Sitting out on the porch was a true pleasure. If I only had to make 2 suggestions, it would be to trim the tops of the trees in front of the porch and to maybe invest in another coffee pot, as it tended to overfow at times. The view would be amazing if the tops were gone from the trees. Other than that....it was perfect. We would stay again....no doubt.

Summary: This cabin is up the mountain so please do not under mind there emails about that :) The cabin has the most beautiful view. We did find some damage to some lamps and the air hockey table. The hot tub was also dirty but they came out right away to clean it for use. We did as we were told and took pictures within the 1st hours and sent them in and that was that. After staying in the house we did notice that the house was dusty in some places. (i.e. over the stove there was A LOT dust on the cabinets and there was a lot of dust on the baseboards in the main bathroom as well as on the wall above the door.Even with the dust issue we would come back.
