4 Bedroom House in Doniphan

Check out the hot tub and views at my beautiful Current River getaway just outside of Doniphan!! You will be impressed with all the amenities this home offers from the large deck, stairs to the river, and beautiful new furniture inside this spacious home. The outside features patio furniture and a BBQ grill that is perfect for the weekend getaway or family reunion. The home has 4 bedrooms (plus sectional and king air mattress in closet) and 3 full baths and sleeps 15 people.
You can walk or drive just down to the end of the road for a large gravel bar common area on Current River and you are only down river a few hundred yards from the city boat launch! You are only about 2 miles from the 2 float companies that rent tubes, kayaks, and canoes.
You will love the hot tub! Some pictures don't show the hot tub since we took those before it was added to the property.
THE HOME IS NEXT TO OTHER HOMES SO PLEASE ONLY BOOK IF YOU WILL BE RESPECTFUL OF THE NEIGHBORS AND HONOR THE CURFEW OF NO LOUD MUSIC OR YELLING AFTER 9:00PM.

Summary: We loved the view, house spacious the house was even the hot tub after a long day on the river! Although the stairs are a workout being able to walk straight down to the river was awesome! We highly reccomend this as a place to stay!

Summary: Our stay was amazing!!! Great view of the river, very relaxing and the best stocked home we have ever stayed in. Plenty of room for the kids and teenagers to spread out and hang out. Very clean and quiet neighborhood.

Summary: This was a great house and location. We had a wonderful time. Communication with home owner was amazing. We had some unfortunate damages to some of our vehicles caused by mother nature. The home owner as well as the neighbors were right there within minutes and were so helpful and caring. Will definitely be returning in the future.

Summary: For our 2024 girls trip, we decided to find a property near water with a hot tub. This Current River getaway was absolutely perfect and beautiful for our group this year. The house was set for a medium to larger group. Plenty of space (love the open living room), and the large deck out back was perfect for morning coffee and evenings watching the water. The kitchen had a ton of pans, spices, and items available for use, which helped out planning for meals after we got there. Our girls trip focus around the hot tub which gave us a wonderful view of the sunset and river at night, and a lovely way to wake up with coffee bright and early in the brisk morning. Even though it was only 3 nights, we were figuring out how to plan for the next visit we loved it so much! We loved being so close to both the river and places to see and visit, in Doniphan and in Van Buren. We drove very easily to Big Spring, Rocky Falls, and Alley Spring. The Rocky River Resort, just up the road, was an EXCELLENT outfitter for floating the river. We enjoyed a 7 mile float on the Current.

Summary: This place was huge and had an incredible view of the Current. A long hike down the bluff leads to a great little private fishing deck. The neighbor's river dog, we named him Earl, was a joyful addition as he liked to wander around and say hello. Best part about this place is the beds. Super comfortable and awesome sheets. Perfect for a long deep sleep after an all day float!

Summary: We had a large group of twelve..6 adults and 6 kids and it was perfect. It was our first time on that section of the Current River ….which we were going to float but after seeing how many motor boats were on that river we decided to drive 30 minutes to Hufstedlers and float the Eleven Point which was a great idea. The float was great! The second day we hung out at the gravel bar down the road which was nice and convenient.

Summary: We had a great time here. Swinging into the River over and over again, floating down to the sandbar. We planned to float one day, but it was rainy, so I can’t speak to the float there. Doniphan has a really great little dessert place…treat yourself to the chocolate strawberry fried pie 😋
