Looking for a place to create lifelong memories in New Jersey's coziest beach town? This is the beach house for you!
The Area
This large family friendly home is a short .4 mile (10 min walk, 5 min bike) to the beach, and a .6 mile (15 min walk, 10 min bike) to the Washington Street Mall area. Around the corner, less than a 5 minute walk, you will find a quaint park with a large pond, jungle gym, swings and a basketball court, perfect for families with children. The home comes with six bikes in the garage for renters' use.
The House:
The house is complete with a Cape May style front porch, fully equipped with adorable rocking chairs, perfect for your morning coffee or an after-the-beach drink. The home also has a sprawling, fenced-in back yard with a large deck for sunbathing and grilling. Out front you will also find plenty of parking both in the driveway and on the street.
Living Areas:
On the first floor when you walk in you are greeted by an open front living room, dining area and kitchen. The dining room table seats 8 and another 4 can comfortably sit at the kitchen island. The kitchen is equipped with all of your basic amenities. As you round the corner you will find yourself in the wet-bar area, stocked with a beer fridge, wine fridge and a second enormous freezer, perfect for storing all of your BBQ essentials! Here you can also find a variety of board games and extra storage. Through the wet bar you make your way to the second, back living room. This living room is just as naturally well lit as the front and is complete with a large couch and a second table that can serve as an additional dining space, or as we tend to use it, a game table! Both the front and back living rooms also come with an electric fireplace, making the space extra cozy in the winter months!
The Bedrooms:
On the first floor you will find 2 large bedrooms with queen beds along with a large shared bathroom with both a standing shower and jetted tub. Upstairs, there are an additional 4 bedrooms, two with large queen beds, one with two twins. These three rooms share another large bathroom with a shower/tub. The final bedroom is something of the crown jewel of the home -- a massive master bedroom with a large king bed. The master room also includes a large trundle bed that can be pulled out into two twin beds. However, if you don't need the extra sleeping space, the trundle bed blends in like a couch. There is also a sitting area inside, a deck overlooking the back yard. The master bedroom also comes with an equally large bathroom with two sinks, a standing shower and a large tub, perfect for relaxing after a long day at the beach!
Please be aware that we do have a Ring doorbell at the front entrance. We use this for security notifications and to ensure that our cleaning and other service providers arrive as promised.
Please note, we are dog friendly but have a 2 dog limit. The pet fee is $200.00 per pet.

Summary: We really liked the fenced backyard with a deck and gated front porch for the small children and dogs. We enjoyed the two adjacent living spaces which allowed family members to do different activities and the large dining table where we could all gather. We appreciated the fact the it was dog friendly and walkable to the beach and the Washington St Mall. It was a great visit.

Summary: My group and I cannot stress enough how amazing this home was !!! Location - easy walking distance to downtown and the beach. The only time we used our car was to go to the zoo. Cleanliness - everything was perfect. From the bedrooms to the bathrooms to the kitchen and livingroom areas Overall home - the BACKYARD WAS AWESOME. We utilized the deck as much as possible and even used the grill. We loved how LARGE the common area was in the back of the house - it was the best place to hang out after a day at the beach and after strolling through town. We highly recommend this property if you're looking for space and proximity to places

Summary: Spacious enough to comfortably fit 8 adults. Location is within a short ride to all major areas of Cape May. In spite of the crazy weather brought to Cape May via Hurricane Ian, we had a comfortable family visit that was restful, which is what we were all seeking.

Summary: My five siblings and our four spouses traveled to Cape May for a birthday celebration. We were so lucky to be Ellen‘s first guest in her vacation home. It was everything we hoped for and more. Communication with Ellen was easy and quick. The six bedrooms allowed each family to have their own bedroom with three baths to share. The fans in every room kept the house temperature comfortable. The two living spaces allowed for group gatherings or for those who were looking for a quieter area to relax, while the rest of us were being quite boisterous. The large dining table allowed us to sit down and have dinner together each night, and the kitchen had all amenities needed for food preparation. The extra refrigerators for our beer and wine were a bonus.(We still needed ice chests to contain all our spirits! LOL)The spacious front porch and deck in the back gave us plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the gorgeous weather. The shed in the back held the eight bikes that we brought with us even with the six bikes provided inside. The fenced in yard was perfect for the two dogs that came along and could be let out without any worry. And the outdoor hot shower was a pleasant surprise and used by many. Finally, the location was perfect. The short four or five blocks to the beach and a 15 minute walk into town meant not needing cars very often. We were away from the hustle and bustle of the town center in a quiet neighborhood yet still close to everything we needed. My siblings were very pleased with my find and have already begun talking about maybe going back another year.
