6 Bedroom Villa in Tournissan

“La Petite Auberge” is a comfortable, recently-built detached house set back from a winegrowing village with breathtaking views of the Corbières mountains, in the heart of Cathar country in the Aude department, equidistant between Narbonne and Carcassonne ... The building was designed from the outset as a vacation rental property. It comprises a large first floor with, on one side, 3 adjoining but non-communicating bedrooms, each with its own entrance and shower room. In the middle, a large, fully equipped kitchen/dining room. And on the other side, a unit consisting of a bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with twin beds (or baby cots), a bathroom with walk-in shower, and a living room that can also be converted into a bedroom for 2 additional people. All these rooms open directly onto a covered terrace, part of which has been converted into a veranda, the other side opening directly unto the pool and garden!
In addition, upstairs are 2 independent apartments: each with 2 bedrooms, a shower room, a living room with fitted kitchen and a large terrace overlooking the garden and swimming pool. (See our ad numbers 1880220 and 1880229).
There's plenty of parking space, you can recharge your electric vehicle and the garden even has a sandy area to play boccia! The house is equipped with reversible air-conditioning: just as pleasant in winter as in summer - and internet access is available free of charge via WIFI. (fibre optic + repeaters).
The complex sleeps a total of 24 people plus an extra 2 babies in cots. You can rent the whole complex or just the first floor, and one of the apartments to suit your needs.
(The owners also live on site, but in their own house: they are available if needed - but always remain as discreet as possible!)
Our pricing policy is based on a rate of €30/person/night - throughout the year. The difference between this amount and the quote offered by Abritel represents the various charges added by the booking platform. Please note that in July and August, we apply a flat rate for the exclusivity of the house of € 3,000/week - regardless of the number of people. Unfortunately, the Abritel software is not yet able to calculate this correctly. If in doubt, please come back to us, the owners, so that we can revise the quote manually before you book!

Summary: HOSTS: Extremely nice. Our group loves to play petanque. The petanque court has no trees around so it bakes under the sun (and heat!) during the day; impossible to play until the evening. So Ludwig & Marie installed night-lights for us to play in the evening. They went above and beyond for us. HOUSE: Very spacious with a bunch of rooms; ideal for large groups. CLEANLINESS: Excellent. LOCATION: Nestled in a small village in the middle of nowhere. Ideal if you want to disconnect from the world. WIFI: Great in some rooms (i could do zoom calls without issue), less so in others. Allocate rooms according to your work needs. AMENITIES: Petanque court, large pool, laundry, dishwasher, easy parking, etc. You may arrange bath towels and linen for an extra fee. Just remember to bring your own soap/shampoo. OVERALL, our group of 10 had an excellent stay. The house met our needs and we fell in love with Marie & Ludwig. I hope our paths will cross again.

Summary: We were visiting Fabrezan for a friends wedding and found this place to be amazing and just what we needed. There were 11 of us in total and Marie could not do enough for us! The rooms were all clean with air con and two flats fitted with their own kitchen. We arrived on a Sunday and everything was closed so Marie hosted us in the restaurant and made amazing food!! The lamb shank was one of the best meals we had! The villa is a short 35 minute drive into Carcassonne town which is incredible. I would recommend hiring a car as although there is a restaurant on site there isn’t anything else in walking distance. The villa was easy to find and 1 hour and 30 minute drive from Toulouse Airport. We will definitely be returning for another break at this villa! We had full access to all the facilities and were no noise restrictions for being in the pool at night! Thank you again Marie!

Summary: I have to say that despite the misfortunes we incurred on the way to the property and the delays that our children experienced thanks to a less than helpful airline, the welcome and overall treatment by Marie and her partner for the week of our stay was better than we could have expected. The property and surroundings are amazing and the owners could not do enough for us. We will certainly be returning and looking forward to some more wonderful family times. Thank you for all your kindness and understanding.
