• Access to the suite via private outside door with 24hr key safe access, leading to entrance hall and cloakroom.
• Spacious lounge with television offering Freeview and Netflix. Large couch which easily converts to a substantial double sofa bed.

• Bedroom with large Super King bed (can be re-configured to two twin beds if preferred) & built in wardrobes.
• Separate kitchen diner with extensive facilities. Large kitchen table suitable for dining and ample room as a work station area. This then leads on to an attractive Sun lounge conservatory with easy chairs.

The property, together with the main house, sits in 6 acres of gardens, orchard and fields, which are available, though access to the 2 fields may be compromised in the run up to, and over, haymaking. Miles of delightful woodland walks are accessible directly from the property for hikers and birdwatchers, and currently 46 separate species of birds have been seen in, or directly overhead from, the garden. Additionally the North Eastern area of the Peak District is only some 5 miles away (15 minutes by car) at Bradfield.
With off road parking for up to 4 cars, whether you are visiting family and friends, attending a wedding, an event in the city, or simply here for business, the one level house provides an ideal base for visitors to the North Sheffield/South Yorkshire area. Junction 36 off the M1 is 5 minutes by car while the Arena, Meadowhall and Sheffield City centre are all less than 5 miles away.
The local centres of Chapeltown and Ecclesfield are less than 2 miles away for the general amenities of shops, banks, post office and restaurants etc. More local pubs with dining facilities and a good selection of beers and drinks are a pleasant 10 to 15 minute stroll.
Your hosts Bob and Annie live in the adjacent main house and will therefore be available for most of the time to welcome you and attend to any aspect of your stay should the need arise. Otherwise you will be left to relax in peace.

Summary: The property was set in beautiful grounds just off Penistone Road. It was clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities that we needed and Annie was a very welcoming annd helpful host. Just across the road was Greno Wood which had many woodland walks, or runs, on our doorstep. Also close by is Chapeltown with restaurants and shops. Also there is a swimming pool nearby. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: We loved loved loved staying here. Everything we needed was supplied and more. This was just a couple of nights to see if my autistic son could stay away from home, and to visit with friends. He enjoyed it so much that we will definitely be back, but for longer next time. Such a lovely place, lovely, quiet and peaceful even though it is situated off a busy road. I can’t praise this enough, we loved it. Such lovely owners too. We were left alone to enjoy our time there, knowing the owners were on hand if we needed them. This is just the perfect place for visiting friends in Sheffield. We will definitely visit again soon.

Summary: We had a delightful stay at Fernbank Suite.Very comfortable,well appointed, spacious, clean and warm. An ideal setting twixt the interesting city of Sheffield and the beauty of the Peak District. Whilst there it snowed heavily but this did not stop our enjoyment, we appreciated relaxing in the sunny conservatory and exercising our dog in the snow covered fields. Our hosts, Ann and Bob were very welcoming and their friendliness complimented our stay. We hope to return in the summer.
