Summary: The house was very nice, well equipped, in a nice neighborhood convenient to Arlington and Old Town Alexandria. We liked that the house felt like a real home; a place someone lives rather than has just set up to rent out. The rental process was very easy and the owners were responsive to our few minor questions. We would definitely book it again.

Summary: Nice place for a home base, but pretty far from the metro. House instructions need to be updated. Loved that it was stocked with coffee, some condiments and water. We would definitely stay again!

Summary: This was a very comfortable and functional stay in an older and eclectic home. The kitchen has everything you would need (we made cookies), the large family room in the basement was very comfortable, and the house is well situated for a nice visit. It is a middle row house so there is some little noises from neighbors, but nothing disruptive. Parking for one car was really easy with a pass for a second car that was mostly fine with only having to walk a little bit up the street one day. The host was very responsive and there was Nothing we needed the house did not provide.

Summary: It's a lovely older home in an adorable neighborhood. We loved the space to spread out and the quirky decor and art. Just a couple of pesky "intruders," outdated appliances, and loud doors/creaky floors that took some getting used to. The patio is great, as is the water pressure!

Summary: It was fine. It’s a bit far from the nearest metro station and grocery store, but the bus station was a quick walk. We noticed some of the electrical outlets didn’t work. The temperature in the master bedroom shower was fun, it was either a shade too cold and too hot. And the tube was definitely not for average height people. My worst objection was the rather large roaches we randomly found scurrying about. They were all perp walked to the street and firmly reprimanded. We were warned that the dishwasher door falls off, so we chose not to use it. It was the perfect size for my family of 5. I was obsessed with really coolly decorated table in the kitchen. I just wish it was cleaner and better maintained.

Summary: The townhouse worked as a great home base for our family vacation touring DC and Alexandria. It didn't take us too long to get into the city each day and it was nice to have a place in a quiet neighborhood to come back to each night! The house had plenty of space for the 5 of us. We enjoyed our stay!

Summary: It was very comfortable. 3 nice sized bedrooms plus 2 full baths made getting ready in the morning a breeze. House had everything we needed. Too bad we were so busy that we couldn’t enjoy it more!

Summary: This property is in a quiet, safe and nice neighborhood. Close to the bus stop and all sights to see. Not sure it would be good for a family with small children but it was great for 3 adults and 3 teenage boys! If we ever come back, we would not hesitate to stay here again!
