Positive: Raquel was very personable and professional. She went above and beyond, adding the little extra touches to ensure a return trip. Stewart has an amazing personality and is very welcoming. Also, the night restaurant manager was knowledgeable in the culture and the history of the Belizean people.
Negative: No housekeeper cleaned out outside deck area, where empty water bottles were left there.

Positive: The staff were personal, professional and friendly. They made up for the problems with water pressure and other mild inconveniences. The food was very good at the O. Overall the resort was nice and we had a good experience, but it was overpriced in comparison to similar resorts on the island. A++ for the staff, A+ for food, A- for drinks, A- on room, C- for prices.

Positive: Loved this hotel! It's about a 25 minute golf cart ride from the centre of the island so it's a little way out but it's quiet and peaceful. Just dusty because the road is unpaved at the moment. The staff were incredible, everyone super friendly, professional and helpful. It was a windy few days for us so we couldn't get to use the beach much but another 20 minutes on is Secret Beach so we would go there instead. The pool here is great, plenty of loungers and space for everyone to relax. The rooms were clean, beds comfy and shower powerful!! Brilliant value for money and we even got a free upgrade. Would definitely stay here again but you definitely need to hire a golf cart to get around the island. Perfect for if you want to get out the real hum of the island but there are still plenty of food places nearby.

Positive: We didn't have breakfast......we did, however, have 1 lunch and two dinners. The food was good but it took forever to get it. And.........it wasn't that busy. On our last night, we ate the fish that we caught that day, plus pre-ordered the side dishes. It took almost an hour to get the food, and this is with an 8-year old. Totally unacceptable.
Negative: The staff seems to be clueless. We asked them to make a restaurant reservation for us and they didn't do it. The cleaning staff must not have enough people. I know that they can be busy, but the first several days we were there they didn't come into clean until 5:00 and they can't count towels. We were always short and had to keep asking for more.
Summary: It's a beautiful property, but things need to be managed much better.

Positive: The room was exceptionally accommodating. All the essentials you need in a room!!! I actually booked this room bc I mixed up the dates for my original booking elsewhere. Once I arrived at actual hotel..I prefer Las Terrazas room I had over other. Amenities are broader. But the cost and the essentials in the room are better at Las Terrzas.

Positive: Lovely pool and setting - the grounds were really pretty. Food at the restaurant was also really good.
Negative: We didn't have our sheets changed all week which I would have expected. The condo also flooded quite badly on our first night due to a storm.
