Positive: Great restaurant and bar. Lovely accomdating and friendly staff and great sized rooms.
Negative: The beach was only partially raked once in 4 days. Seaweed and litter was left to build up and the beach and sea was inaccessible because of it. Ruined a lovely beach.

Negative: There are a number of different types of repairs that need to happen at this facility. We had to be moved to another apartment because the first one had a flood in the hallway from the rain and I nearly fell due to a broken chair in the bedroom.

Positive: I loved this resort! I'm so happy we found it and Raquel made us feel right at all. The entire staff was great to be honest. When we walked in my god child screamed, "This is as big a house." The AC stood out the most to me. I've been to island and often times the place wouldn't get cold enough but when we walked in I was punched in the face by the draft of Alaska, just as I like it. The pool was phenomenal. Had I not dragged the girls out, they wouldn't have done anything else. Everyday our room was cleaned before we got back. If you know how to kayak, paddle board or wind surf it is all available to you for FREE. You're also in close proximity to secret beach and I'd much rather have a shorter drive to Secret Beach than to the city because the road to the city is easier.
Negative: There was a bit of construction/renovations happening at the resort. This is temporary so maybe when you go it'll be complete.
Summary: Feels like home away from home.

Positive: Staff was amazing, they did all they could to make us comfortable and help with anything we needed. I give staff a 10 out of 10.
Negative: The distance from the town and due to rain and part of the road to resort was not a comfortable ride on golf carts that my sciatica flared up on the second day due to bumpy roads.
Summary: Great time at resort. Beautiful grounds and welcoming staff.

Positive: We travelled with two small children so the pool was perfect and the beach was beautiful. We were disappointed we couldn't swim in the sea but we understand that seagrass is nature so that just meant extra time in the pool which the girls loved.
Negative: We stayed in a three bedroom suite and while the unit size was great, both bathroom showers were dirty when we arrived and the sink in one was clogged and didn't drain properly. We were told on arrival that our room would be cleaned daily and fresh water supplied but we had to ask each day for water and our room was only cleaned once after 2 days and while we were gone for dinner in the evening. There were 5 of us so 6 small bottles of water didn't go far so we would suggest a 5 gallon crystal bottle since guests are told not to drink tap water. The only other thing that was tough for us was the construction noise. We get that units need updating etc but construction right above us and having two toddlers trying to nap was frustrating but we get that isn't a problem for lots of families with older children.
Summary: We had a fun weekend, the staff are amazing

Positive: Before we arrived we had great communication with the hotel. They were able to book our travel arrangements before we got there since we had to hop to the island itself. Once we got there, from the car ride, to the boat ride, to the front desk everyone was so kind and gave 5 star customer service. Nigel in particular who was our server during our stay was incredible. Very kind, always ready to help, gave us great local recommendations and a lot of history about the island itself. We also loved that we were at the half way mark between the town and Secret Beach.
Negative: The roads right outside of the hotel are not great, and if you have any injuries I really don't recommend it. Hopefully in a couple of years the roads will be fixed and we did go during the rainy season but it was a potholes and very wet. The roads were super bumpy right outside the hotel, but as we drove more into town the roads were between which means hopefully the hotel can one day invest in better roads.
