Beautiful cottage surrounded by lovely landscaping. Just a 10 minute drive to the beach and roughly 15 minutes to downtown Charleston. You will enjoy spending time in this 1 bedroom, 1 bath cottage right in the center of James Island. From the time you pull in the driveway, you will notice the attention to detail. Pack your bags for a trip to Charleston! The property is fully equipped with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, sheets, towels. In addition, there is toilet paper and paper towels. While staying at this property, you will enjoy the screened in patio with a dining table for 4. There are also two comfortable chairs for sipping your morning coffee on the porch. When you feel like going to the beach, don’t bother packing your beach chair as there are 2 chairs along with boogie boards and beach towels. When you come home from the beach, you may even want to use the outdoor shower! Very private shower and the back of the house. In the evenings, whether you want to go out or stay in, there are tons of restaurants close by. However, when you feel like staying in, there is a grill at the property and a perfect area outside great for cooking out and enjoying the exterior features of this home.
There is even a fire pit right by the outdoor seating area guests are welcome to use. Whether you are coming for a long relaxing weekend or even a business trip, this home has it all! Take advantage of the County Park pass this home provides. The local park is only a couple miles away and has plenty to do! Great walking paths, bike rentals, paddleboard and kayak rentals too! This pass also allows you into the other local parks Charleston has to offer. What more can you ask for!

Summary: I highly recommend this cute little cottage. It is a perfect place for a couple to visit the Charleston area. Close to everything. It is clean, well appointed, convenient to everything and the hosts are wonderful! They care about their guest and want them to feel at home. We really enjoyed our stay and will go back.

Summary: We had a great time staying here on our honeymoon. Everything was very convenient to get to, only 15 minutes to downtown or the beach. The park pass was great for getting to the best secluded beach spot. We loved sitting on the screen porch during the thunderstorms!

Summary: Stayed here for an extended weekend and LOVED it. Very quiet and private. Used the fire pit one night and loved it. We Ubered into town every night which was super easy. Bed was very comfy and the bungalow was spotless- we hope to stay here again for another golf vacation.

Summary: This bungalow is perfect in every way. Conveniently located for access to Folly Beach, to everything on the historic peninsula, and to events at The Citadel, it is in a tranquil, quiet area of James Island. All the accommodations and furnishings in the bungalow are very nice: from the full kitchen, the spacious washer & dryer-equipped bathroom, to the comfortable bed cooled by a ceiling fan. We look forward to staying there again in the future and will recommend the bungalow to friends.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay in this charming bungalow on James Island. We would have wished for warmer weather the first week we were there (mid Feb) but this last week of Deb the weather has warmed up and we used the screened in porch as well as the chairs outside. The hostess was charming and helped advise us on placed to visit and restaurants. Five stars!

Summary: A short drive across the bridge to downtown. If you have an active day in the city the bath shower has the greatest water pressure with added jets. The studio unit sits in a residential area behind the main house on picturesque acreage.

Summary: The property is in a great location. Very clean and unique bungalow. The bathroom is nice and the shower was awesome. The only reason it isn’t 5 stars is the bed was not very comfortable. Would recommend adding a mattress topper or else it’s very stiff. Other than that we had a great stay.
