Summary: From the moment we arrived and were treated to tea and scones on the terrace our visit was a pure delight. Our room was clean, bright and comfortable with every need catered for. Dinner was superb as was breakfast the next morning. Throughout our visit there was always a member of staff on hand if needed and everyone was smiley and helpful. It's a family run hotel and we felt like part of the family!

Summary: Old fashioned hospitality in a superb location with the most beautiful gardens. Amazing food and wine, best breakfast ever. We ate all our meals in the garden including the legendary warm scones- bliss. The hotel is in a gorgeous village and it backs straight onto the north York moors for easy walking. Loved it.

Summary: Stayed only for one night for a week end with my daughter but really enjoyed the tranquil setting, beautiful house, gorgeous gardens, quality food and super friendly service. Would recommend it to anybody who likes a quiet country hotel where you are being made feel "special". An excellent location for the coastal facilities if one doesn't want to stay in the hussle and bussle of the resorts. Hope to return, thank you!
