Positive: The location was great - very close to the Pont Marie metro station and lots of restaurants and shops. A small grocery store is on the corner. The apartment was clean and obviously well cared for. Air conditioning was helpful at night. The host was kind and helpful.
Negative: Only that there was three flights of stairs.

Positive: Location was good , lots of great restaurants nearby and the island is an oasis of calm in the centre of Paris . The property is a good size and is very homely and comfortable . It was immaculately clean and had everything that we needed. Communication with Flavio was great and he was very responsive to our questions.
Negative: The bed was a little harder than we are used to, but it didn’t spoil our stay. Common areas in the building are generally very tired and we were concerned when we arrived - but once you are inside the flat, it is lovely

Positive: -Lovely location convenient to several metro lines & walking to the Marais neighborhood, and by leaning a bit out the window you can see a bit of the Seine and the lively scene on the banks, as pictured (the picture of the buildings is the reverse view from the corner of the bridge; apartment is in the building on the far left). But with windows closed it’s quiet. -New appliances all worked well, from the AC (only needed a bit during our stay during sunny afternoons), to the hot water & water pressure in the shower, to the kitchen which was well equipped. The washing machine also has a drying function, which we did not use but had we stayed longer, really would have appreciated vs. hanging things everywhere to air dry. -Having the toilet separate from the shower & sink was helpful for getting ready -Bed was comfortable and there were extra linens and pillows in the closet if needed. We stayed as a couple and so did not open the sofa bed, but the sofa as a place to sit was nice -Wi-Fi was strong and reliable -Stairs were fine; it’s 23 steps per flight (69 total) to get to the apartment. They are uneven in places but if you have healthy legs you’re fine. -In general, just as pictured and we loved our short stay. This was a repeat visit to Paris and so we wanted a place to bring pastries back to have with coffee, relax before heading out to dinner, and serve as a home base for essentially walking around and eating, and it was perfect for that.
Negative: The pump for the AC drain is noisy - you’ll want earplugs if you need to use it at night.

Positive: The location and the host! Ile Saint Louis is the perfect location. Close to much of what Paris has to offer but like a quiet little village in the middle of the Seine. Further from the Eiffel Tower end of town but easily walkable, if you have the time, and easily accessible via Metro. I have never had a host as helpful as Flavio. Super responsive and super helpful. Played a big role in our wonderful visit to Paris!
Negative: Nothing, but then my husband and myself are active and relatively fit, so the stairs to the flat were not a problem. However, I’m very glad that we had reasonably-sized bags that weren’t very heavy (40 lbs. at most).
Summary: Could not have enjoyed it more!
