4 Bedroom House in Gilead

Welcome to Cabin #1 at Whites Brook Estates located at 99 Mountain Vista Drive. This luxury cabin has three bedrooms and a lower level bunk room along with four bathrooms. On the main floor is the spacious fully equip kitchen with a granite counter top island, open concept with a stately fireplace, large smart tv, dining table seating up to 12 and a living room area. Just out the glass doors you will find yourself on a wrap around deck with outside seating and a grill. This level also has a master suit with king size bed and a private bath with a beautiful tile shower. The second floor has two bedrooms both with queen beds and a shared full bath, and a loft with a pull out sofa.
Lastly the basement level is where the fun begins. The game area has a shuffle board table, bar area great for entertaining and just out the door you will find the hot tub. The bunk room is on this level with a full bathroom. Detached 2 car garage. Back up generator just in case the Maine weather effects the power..
Just minutes from Bethel village and a 15 minute drive to Sunday River Ski Resort. Gorham, NH is 15minutes away offering snowmachine trails and summertime fun trails for ATVing and UTVing.

Summary: We stayed for a week over spring break for some spring skiing. The house is amazing - spacious, clean and well equipped. The grill must have been replaced bc previous reviews said it was an issue. My husband used it twice with no issue. The oven needs to be replaced. We made the best of it, but it wouldn’t get to temperature and was very finicky. Locks on several exterior doors are not functional. It’s a very secluded place so it didn’t feel like an issue but would be an easy remedy.

Summary: Beautiful home in a beautiful, secluded location.But…At least half of the external doors do not lock, including the basement walkout doors, where the kids bunk room is alone.Stove is broken, does not cook to temperature and can’t adjust.Fire alarms are either disconnected and/or removed. House is poorly insulated, internally, meaning you can hear every word someone else is saying in other rooms and other floors when doors are closed. Difficult when some of the party is sleeping and the rest are up watching TV or laughing.Aside from those four major items, nice house with a lot of space.

Summary: We booked the house to celebrate my father’s birthday. It nicely accommodated 3 families with a bunk room for the kids downstairs. The alligator across the hall was a bit scary for young children, so beware opening doors. The hot tub was a nice touch, although we struggled to keep it at temperature. Location was perfect for mountain access and remote Mountain View’s. We enjoyed snow shoeing, skiing and sledding locally.

Summary: the property is beautiful. bbq needs replaced, hot tub missing headrest, sound system not working in basement and the outside and mid level where a tid bit flakey but they worked. note internet is hughesnet so its super slow 4mbps down 600+ms latency. doors of the cabin dont lock. no air conditioning(even tho it was stated in the listing). att service is good bout 12mbps down ~70 ms.

Summary: This house was stunning for our family birthday trip celebrating our daughter’s 30th birthday. We had 8 adults and 2 teens and 2 children. It was a perfect location and very clean with all you could need. Beautiful views and close to Sunday River. They do have 2 identical houses without numbers on them and we actually checked into the wrong house by mistake. Joyce was so understanding as it has happened before. We offered to move but didn’t have to as the other house is the same. Overall, incredible property. We used the hashtag #wronghouserightparty Thanks for everything. We will be back for sure.

Summary: This cabin was absolutely beautiful and spotless with breathtaking views. We rented this cabin for our small wedding reception and it was perfect. The only down side was the landscaping, the grass in the front yard and driveway were very overgrown.

Summary: My family and I had an amazing time over New Years at this house!! The house was very clean and there was plenty of space for everyone. The kids especially loved the downstairs area and hot tub. Would definitely love to come back again!
