Summary: We had booked a room at Litli Geysir Hotel but the day of we received notice that we had been upgraded to stay at the new Hotel Geysir. This hotel is directly across from the Strokkur Geysir so no complaints on the location. The beds in our room were fantastic. The room would have been better if it had a mini fridge and ice bucket. We had dinner at the restaurant and free breakfast in the morning. Both had plenty of options. The staff were friendly and still learning the place but it was clean and had large open lounge areas with interesting art. And after a night snowfall, they plowed the parking lot immediately.

Summary: Disappointed that all the facilities were closed and inaccessible even to sit and talk. You had to walk over to the big hotel for breakfast and dinner or for a drink. It would s a very short walk but in freezing rain not so nice.

Summary: I have to say that this review is NOT for Litli Geysir; I arrived to check in and found I'd been upgraded to a room at Hotel Geysir instead and it was WONDERFUL.

Summary: The bartender created a sour drink on the spot. It was delicious. Dinner was really good (veggie burger was delicious).

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was amazing to be just a 5-minute walk from the geysers and other beautiful natural attractions—such a unique experience! There were lots of food options nearby, which was very convenient. The room was pristine, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. Overall, a great stay!
