Positive: We have been to Fripp Island several times, and we love it. We also love the Davis Love area.
Negative: The house needs updating and deep cleaned, but other than that everything was great.
Summary: Fantastic!! We would stay here again.

Positive: House was nicely furnished but a little worn. Plenty of linens and towels were provided. Air conditioner worked great. The house was roomy and comfortable. I liked the golf themed decor. The house was located in a quieter area which was a plus.
Negative: Just a suggestion there could be a few more utensils and some cookware, The icemaker wasn't working properly. I think it was stopped up because the ice would spill inside the freezer area. Yellow bedroom toilet would block easily. These are only comments meant to be helpful information for your benefit not complaints.
Summary: My kids and grandkids said best time ever and I concur, we love Fripp Island.

Positive: I liked the wildlife, which was in abundance. We used a golf cart to explore the Island, and the house was very spacious with a wonderful large screen-in porch. Since the covid19 pandemic was in full swing, it was nice to have a place to ourselves.
Negative: Being that the home is on an island, there were few food stores and shops that were open to the renters. You had to have a Members Pass to use a lot of the island's facilities. The closest stores were 30 minutes away which to me was an inconvenience. This vacation was in the latter part of December so the beach was nice to walk but nothing else. When we went to Beaufort for a day trip, we had to cut it short as so many people did not wear a mask nor did they social distance. We had so many golfers hit their balls into the yard since the house was right along the golf course. On one occasion, a golf ball was hit close to where I was standing.
Summary: If you are a golfer or if you like the seclusion this island offers, it would be a great vacation.
