Positive: The location was great and the host was lovely and helpful everything you need there.
Negative: Being woke up by dog behind barking at 5:30 every morning. Hot water dangerous either freezing or boiling. Bit dated and not the cleanest. Mouldy shower curtain, rusty unit in bedroom extractor fan in kitchen greasy,fridge and freezer dirty inside not wiped and oven door dangerous the glass jolts when opening and closing and looks like gonna fall out. Think a little over priced.

Positive: The lodge is beautiful a bit dated in side but whos looking for luxury when your having a good time being away from home im not there to critize wots inside as long as its clean and homely which it was and beautiful surroundings to and lots of places to see near by would return again soon gave me a extra day to many thanks 😊

Positive: The property was clean and comfortable. The location was good peaceful area, but close enough to main roads for travel.
Negative: Unfortunately the steps to the decking were broken on arrival, but after speaking to the owner this was repaired during our stay.

Positive: The owner gave us an extra night free, because my wife had an unrelated hospital stay.They also made enquiries as to her progress in hospital and offered extra help with further accommodation.

Positive: we had a lovely stay in the Lodge! very comfortable, everything we needed and lots of space for 2 of us and a toddler. great location and views and some lovely welcome treats left for us! thank you!
Negative: some areas of the property hadn’t been cleaned but this didn’t ruin our stay and the owner was very kind when I mentioned this and even offered to send the cleaners back round the next day!! also, the lodge gets very cold at night, particularly the twin room but luckily there was an electric heater in the property we could put on at periods throughout the night. they had also left hot water bottles in the room which was a nice touch. some very aggressive dogs are in a cage/garden by the car park which wasn’t very nice to walk past each time we went to car and get barked/growled at which is obviously out of the lodge owners control!
Summary: lovely stay, good location, lovely space and had everything we needed! thank you!
