Positive: The location was good as we needed to get to Canterbury. The accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Lots of room, hot water etc. Good eating places in the village including restaurant opposite. Hosts very helpful.

Negative: It would have been good to have had blinds in the lounge, as accommodation very visible in the evening from outside. There were few instructions particularly for heating which took a long time to heat lounge on arrival, and then was on at odd times. and TV which didn’t seem to have terrestrial channels except through separate apps. Ok but complicated.

Summary: Comfortable stay in the heart of Kent.

Positive: Great location for Canterbury. Really lovely hosts (thank you for the welcome treats!) Really pretty and well appointed property- very comfortable and cosy.

Negative: A personal preference is a firmer mattress- but that's just a small detail in what was a lovely stay.

Positive: The property was so lovely, literally had everything we could ever need, it was so modern and situated close to all of Kent’s beautiful coast. Kerri and Roland who own the hayloft are absolutely fantastic people, and nothing was too much trouble. We felt like part of their family. They also have a lovely son and 2 adorable dogs who we fell in love with. I would highly recommend this property too anyone xx

Positive: Absolute gem. Kerri and Roland were just the best hosts. The accommodation is just gorgeous, really well kept and amazingly clean and cozy. We loved staying here and will definitely be coming back! Beds are super comfy, too!

Positive: 12 minutes easy drive into the centre of Canterbury. There was also a bus which passed the front door which went into Canterbury. It was also within a short drive to pretty gardens The surrounding countryside is very pretty with country gardens to visit close by. The property was well furnished and having 2 bedrooms with their own bathrooms was particularly nice. Having a downstairs bedroom and bathroom great for my eldery father. The dishwasher made eating in very easy. The owners were very helpful providing us with the few things which we needed for our stay.

Negative: There is no freezer in the property however the owner made ice for me and I'm sure would have made space in her outside freezer had I needed it. There is only a breakfast bar seating 2 people. There is a lovely garden with a good table and chairs to sit at however when it's a bit cold you really want to eat inside which is ok if there's only 2 of you. I couldn't open the bi-fold doors which made it extremely hot in the lounge, hopefully this issue will be sorted out and not an issue in the future. There is constant road noise which you get used to but if you are used to quiet at night you will need earplugs.
