Summary: The place was nice with basically everything we needed. Hot water pressure in the kitchen sink was the only issue but with a dishwasher, wasn’t a big deal. Bring your own food and cooking ingredients as S&P was all that was provided.

Summary: The cabin is a very nice get away. Bring food, drinks and bug spray and you are all set. I was disappointed that I didn't find out it has NO A/C until after I booked it. It was 80+ in the cabin during the day and the lowest I seen it inside at night was 77. If you don't mind sleeping in the heat this is perfect for you. The cabin does need some attention. Multiple windows have to be propped open or they won't stay open. The master bedroom door and bathroom door make all kinds of noise when opening and closing. The other bathroom door does not latch closed at all and has no water pressure in the shower. The kitchen also has no hot water pressure. If you plan on hand washing dishes like we do good luck. Overall it was very nice and very peaceful.

Summary: My wife and I and our two kids ages 11 and eight stayed here for an MEA break. We arrived in the dark and it was a little confusing because the address is actually for the cabin on the lake and this is the carriage house so it's across the street from where the address takes you. So we ended up at the wrong place but we called the owner and she let us know where to go.Interestingly, it was only 54° in the house. So we turned on the heat and started unpacking. An hour later was still only 54°. So I texted the owner. She had a neighbor come by and apparently the propane tank was empty. It was already about 9 o'clock at night so they weren't able to get it filled until the next day.Luckily, there are tons of blankets and we all slept fine. The next day we went hiking at Itasca and by the time we got back the heat was on. The owner was very apologetic and easy to work with. She even took off that nights charge since we were kind of camping in the house. Overall it was a very nice break and a good story to reminisce with the kids later.

Summary: This cabin was absolutely beautiful. It was very clean with the exception of a few flies that had gotten in, but it was fall and cooler out, so we weren't surprised at all by that. The kitchen was well stocked and the property was breathtaking!! The master soaker tub was such a welcome sight after a long hike. Overall, I wish we could have stayed longer. It was a truly wonderful weekend that we won't forget!! Thank you!!!
