Home away from home! Everything you need plus a LAKE! Our home has a relaxing cabin feel. New flooring, kitchen cabinets and countertops! New washer and dryer! Enjoy barbequing on the deck and eating around the fire pit. Surrounded by trees, this quiet neighborhood will wash away the stress of busy city living immediately!
What's nearby:
Lake Cushman Private Park is a quick 60 second walk. This private park (to which guests will be given a visitor pass) has a large playground, swimming hole, basketball court and a lovely gazebo with barbeque. You can launch your canoes and kayaks from this spot! Clean showers and bathrooms are at the park. The Lake Cushman Golf Course provides nine holes and a practice green. Disc golf is located near the golf course. Hiking trails everywhere! Please see our cabin binder for more information on nearby hikes and other fun things to do in the area.
Things to know:
Dog Friendly: we LOVE dogs and love traveling with them. So bring your well behaved furry friends. Just keep the barking down to a minimum for our neighbors!
Full kitchen: stocked with everything you need to cook for your family, including spice rack, oil and a coffee pot. (groceries not included, lol)
Washer/Dryer and laundry soap
Summer guests should note that this home does have air conditioning. There is a nice cross breeze with front and back doors open as well, and a fan provided.
Board games, puzzles and books provided.
If you forget your beach towels you are welcome to use ours, we just ask that you wash and dry them before you leave.
A visitor pass is provided and required on your vehicle while visiting the Lake Cushman Private Park or the boat launch.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting 'Yes' to pets. If you would like to add more dogs the $25 nightly fee will apply for each additional dog.
Parking Notes: There is parking for three vehicles in the driveway. Or if you have a boat 1 or 2 cars and a boat should fit easily. Please do not park on the street.
Boat access: Head towards the park and make a left instead of going all the way to the park and you will find a very nice boat launch. Just make sure you have that visitor pass on your car. Please note that guests are required to complete the rental agreement attached, along with the 2 ID items listed on page 3 of the agreement within 24 hours of booking.

Summary: This is the second time I stayed at this property and the second time I really didn’t wanna leave. It’s just a warm family friendly place very dog friendly and if your hiker there are so many hikes around it was unfortunate that we didn’t get the late summer days that we were hoping for, but we still enjoyed ourselves just love this place.

Summary: Great place for exploring Lake Cushman and Olympic area. The Staircase Rapids trail is particularly wonderful, and there are loads of places to get to the water for swimming etc.

Summary: This was a second location to support a family gathering. The place was clean, comfortable with lots of homey touches not normally present in a rental. While not as warm and sunny as we hoped for we were able to climb Mt Ellinor, went whale watching, and explored Port Townsend and Sequim. It.was a lot of fun.

Summary: This house was the perfect family vacation spot! Clean, comfortable, and cozy, with all of the amenities you could wish for - and right next to beautiful Lake Cushman! We swam, picnicked, played games, cooked, explored, and just relaxed and enjoyed the scenery, the comfortable beds, and being together. Highly recommended! Our dog loved it too.

Summary: This property has everything you could want or need! The barbecue and flattop grill made it easy to step away from the cozy a/c during the heat. This home is spacious and well stocked with cookware. The property manager was on top of making it super easy to access the property and let us know when there was something to beware of. Overall super smooth stay and loved this home and it is very close to the lake! Plan on coming back next summer!

Summary: Super sweet get away place with wonderful amenities. We enjoyed every moment there and only wish our work conflicts didn’t delay our arrival. The short walk to the lake and park was great and we did it multiple times with our youngest son. The community & staff was welcoming and we felt right at home!

Summary: Words cannot express how pleased we were with our stay! The property was gorgeous and impressively stocked. Sitting on the deck, surrounded by nature while doing homework was the best! Our two older teens enjoyed the proximity of the lake to the property. Truly, i cannot say enough good things. Thank you, Kim, for the amazing communication and for making our stay so awesome!!
