2 Bedroom House in Hoodsport

On a bluff that overlooks Lake Cushman, you will be enchanted with the stunning views of the Olympic Mountains and beautiful Lake Cushman from every angle within the house. A newer home with a cabin feel and modern amenities, knotty pine trim and rustic wood furniture, it is a comfortable place to enjoy the serene setting of the mountains and the lake. There is a wrap around deck on the first floor, with a table for four and a view down the lake. In a private area, on the back of the house, there is a patio where you may BBQ on a propane or charcoal grill, eat at a picnic table, and enjoy a small fire in the fire pit. On the second floor, there are two bedrooms that access a private balcony where you can sit and relax and let your worries float away. You can access the lakeside down a winding path to a covered deck, the "Tiki Bar", that overlooks the lake. We have provided two sit upon kayaks for guest use from Memorial Day through Labor Day. There is a park for residents and their guests minutes from the house with play areas, picnic tables, a safe swim area and a boat launch and dock. There are two security cameras outside facing the parking area and a door lock code that changes with each rental for guest security. Please note that the hot tub and row boat are not available for guest use. There is no onsite boat trailer parking. Special arrangements by the manager would need to be made for a boat for a boat pass and trailer parking. For visiting the local parks, there is one car pass available for one car but any additional car passes would have to be arranged by the manager.

Summary: I've visited this house several times with family and friends, and I can highly recommend it. The views are amazing, the house is very comfortable, the instructions and directions are clear, and the owner is very easy to communicate with.

Summary: This was an amazing place to wind down after an Alaskan cruise. The view was breathtaking and the stars at night above the big pine trees was simply beautiful. We got to kayak on the beautiful lake cushman and did some hiking around the area. Port Townsend is a quaint little town to visit. Mike was very attentive to our needs and the notes he left around the place were very helpful. Please do yourself a favor and rent this place for some stunning views and an amazing time!!

Summary: We couldn't have imagined a more stunning view than this Lake Cushman retreat offered! We were there over a long Labor Day weekend and enjoyed spending time on the deck, hiking, swimming, kayaking and scuba diving in the nearby Sound. The kitchen is well appointed, the beds comfortable, and overall a lovely home! There are stores, parks, restaurants, and the Sound all within a 15 minute drive. We would definitely return and we're so glad we chose this property for our vacation!

Summary: The lakehouse listing was 100% accurate. All amenities offered were in great condition, and all communication with owner was expedient. WiFi speed and entertainment options were wonderful! Hot water and pressure were outstanding- compared to others we have stayed at in the area. We book a lake Cushman rental every summer-this lakehouse was one of the best ones yet!! Thank you Mike G!!

Summary: I have already reviewed the Eagle's Rest a few times. I can only add that it continues to be a wonderful place to stay at if you plan on visiting Lake Cushman. It is very clean and comfortable, and has views of the lake from every room. The beds are great, and the kitchen is well equipped. As an avid swimmer and paddler, what I find most wonderful, however, is the private dock and cabana. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Summary: Everything about the stay was just wonderful! Nothing beats the view! There is a beautiful view from every window! The instructions and communication prior to arrival were complete and clear. Mike was very communicative whenever we needed something. The property was clean, stocked with basic necessities and had everything we needed. The location is better than expected! Just a short walk down to lake! Our family made a ton of wonderful memories! Summary: This home is very comfortable and has the most incredible views. As kayakers the location cannot be beat. The coves and shoreline near Eagles Rest are so much fun to explore. We highly recommend this gem and look forward to our next visit.
