Galena is a lovely three bedroom villa situated on the Sandy Lane Estate in St. James on the west coast of Barbados.
Each of the three very spacious bedrooms is air-conditioned with en suite bathroom. The master suite in the north wing includes a separate seating area where you can relax in private for a little me-time. There are two additional single bedrooms that share a bathroom. These are suitable for young children or teenagers and are cooled with ceiling fans, not air-conditioning and can be made available for a minimal fee.
As you enter the property the large reception/lounge leads to all areas of the villa; the large well outfitted kitchen; the bedrooms to the north and south of the property; the TV room, which provides an extra area to sit and relax; and to the large patio through French doors along the rear wall of the room. The patio runs along the length of the villa with a small private section from the master bedroom and a wrap-around section by the pool.
The patio offers stunning views of the large landscaped grounds and across the Sandy Lane Golf Course out to the ocean beyond. A bridge in the garden adds further charm to this lovely home. There are breezy, shaded spots to relax at mid-day and a large sun deck for those who want to catch a few rays. The patio also provides a stunning place to sit in the evening as the sun sets while you enjoy a cocktail, or outdoor dining so you can be truly captivated by all that the Caribbean has to offer.
