Inside, the open-plan layout creates a light and airy atmosphere throughout. The spacious vaulted living area blends classic island charm with modern touches—featuring coral stone walls, mahogany and bamboo furnishings, and a large marble dining table that’s perfect for relaxed meals with family and friends.
Glass doors open out onto a covered terrace overlooking the pool and gardens—an ideal spot for unwinding with a book or enjoying evening drinks. A small garden table offers a lovely corner for morning coffee or a casual game of cards. The private pool is surrounded by greenery, making it perfect for sunbathing or splashing around in the warm Caribbean sunshine.
The villa sleeps six guests across three large, air-conditioned bedrooms. The master bedroom includes a king-size bed and a spacious en-suite bathroom with double sinks and a walk-in shower. The two additional bedrooms each have twin beds that can be joined to form kings—one with a private en-suite bathroom and the other with a full bathroom just across the hall.
A short 5- to 7-minute walk (or 2-minute drive) brings you to the private Sandy Lane Beach Club, where you'll have access to complimentary loungers, umbrellas, changing facilities, showers, a snack bar, and shaded seating. Your stay includes the services of a full-time housekeeper and cook, available six days a week. She’ll prepare breakfast, light lunches, and additional meals on request, take care of your laundry (including personal items), and ensure the villa is kept spotless throughout your stay.

Summary: Had a wonderful time at the villa. Ernesta and Geoffrey were great, very friendly and looked after us so well. The real bonus was the Sandy Lane Property Owners Beach Club. It was stunning and to have such a lovely beach just a short walk away was the icing on the cake.

The villa was so nice and private yet only a short walk to the gorgeous Sandy Lane Beach. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good value private villa in Barbados.

Summary: We had an absolutely lovely stay at Anchorage! We were welcomed by the ever-smiling Ernesta who prepared a delicious dinner our first night as well as several other meals, all beautifully presented and yummy. She took excellent care of us our entire stay and is a vital part the Anchorage Villa experience! The outdoor living space at Anchorage is just gorgeous! Geoffrey maintains the grounds immaculately and there are plenty of wonderful spots to lounge. Couldn't imagine finding better outdoor living. The indoor living space is quite large, open and airy with lots of closet space! Master bath could use updating and the TV didn't work (but oddly enough would come on randomly!) We loved having easy access to tennis, golf, and the beach. (Our manager was not aware that we were allowed access to tennis.) The surrounding property and the Old Course provide great walking paths. What could be improved is having some "hotel" amenities provided, like small bottles of basic toiletries. There should absolutely be mosquito repellent supplied! I also think little things like making sure hand soap dispensers are looking good and working and having better quality bed pillows would take Anchorage to the next level. Overall, Anchorage Villa is absolutely lovely and we would certainly recommend it!! We had a wonderful time!

Summary: After a delayed arrival, we were so relieved and happy to see Ernesta's warm and smiling face when we arrived! She was incredibly kind and prepared a late (and very delicious) dinner for us all - it was quite a welcoming and a wonderful start to our vacation. Not to mention that the dinner and all subsequent meals were laid out on the gorgeous veranda overlooking the trees and pool - we felt like we were in our very own hidden oasis! Every day was beautiful at the house, and our son loved watching the green monkeys pass through the property! We felt so safe and relaxed. Another bonus is the access to the Sandy Lane Property Owners beach club, which is next to the Hotel's beach and very well kept. The bartender there, Doreen, is a hoot. Plenty of gorgeous golf kept the boys happy, so we'll definitely be returning - hopefully for a longer period of time!

Summary: We have just got back from a lovely stay at Anchorage. The villa is excellent for privacy with loads of space both inside and out. These were the two things we craved for the most and we weren't disappointed. Ernesta cooked us several lovely meals and both her and Geoffrey the gardener were lovely. Having the beach so close to was an added bonus as we didn't need to use the car that much at all. Would def recommend this villa.

Summary: We had such a lovely time at the villa. There was only 2 of us but there was so much space, 6 adults could easily fit. The best parts for us were the pool and gardens plus the privacy was a real plus. It was also only a short walk to the Sandy Lane Beach and every other villa we found that was within a short walk to the beach on Sandy Lane was twice as much $! Anchorage is a real gem. Highly recommend.

Summary: We had a great time at Anchorage villa. We are a family of 4 including 1 young infant but the villa is very large so it could easily sleep another 2 adults without being cramped at all. The location of the villa was just perfect for us. Close enough to the beach and Holetown but also plenty of privacy. We spent our time at the villa going between all these locations and generally being very lazy. Thank-you for all your help. Hopefully we will be back soon.

Summary: Wow all the family loved Anchorage. Lovely quiet neighbourhood but just a short walk or slightly longer with our children (no more than 10 mins and that includes stopping and starring at monkeys!) to the beach which was fantastic for swimming. Spent a lot of time at the house enjoying the pool and outside dining area. So much space for the five of us and for Sandy Lane exceptional value. Will definitely be back!
