A beautifully laid out 1400 sq. foot single-family single-story (no stairs) cottage home in award-winning Habersham available for short-term or longer stays. This 3-year-old home is Located just a few miles from downtown Beaufort and a short drive to Paris Island, and the Marine Corps Air Station. An easy drive to Savannah, Georgia, and Charleston, S.C. Hilton Head and Bluffton, South Carolina are both close by. Please note that external security cameras are in use.
Our beautiful single-level home has both a front and rear entrance. Interior flooring consists of hardwood (hallway, dining room, and living room) carpet (both bedrooms), and tile (bathrooms). A fully equipped kitchen includes stools by a center island, plenty of counter space, and many cabinets. You will have access to the outside on a fully screened porch accessible via sliding doors plus an open patio. A BBQ is positioned on the open porch along with a fire pit. Near the front of the interior is a utility room with a washing machine and dryer accompanied by a work table and oversized sink. Please note that we deploy outdoor cameras in order to monitor the property. Prior approval of pets is required.
Other than the tool shed in the back, guests have access to the entire properly.
Faith and Jeff are available via phone during your stay. If you need any assistance, we are happy to stop by and help. We are less than a mile away from the property. If you would like someone to consult for area amenities and sightseeing, we can help as well. We are reachable by cell, text or the

Habersham was designed to interact with the landscape including many trees and ponds. Many homes are close to the Broad River, a key estuary. The roads are narrow and speed limits are restricted. Resident cars are parked in the alleys and gravel roads behind the houses. Deer run free and there is a wide assortment of birds here. Parks are located throughout Habersham.
Your best bet in getting around is by walking, bicycling, or via golf car. The Habersham Marketplace has sufficient parking for the restaurants and stores. Golf cars are available for rental while you are here. There are at least three rental outlets for golf cars in the Beaufort area.
Habersham is a community of diverse housing options and a lot of amenities. Our mix of residents includes retired seniors, working adults, high school/grammar school students, newborns, and the military. It appeals to those that enjoy the "New Urbanist" trend that includes amenities and work options close to home along with terrific environmental beauty.
There are many cottage homes nearby so we ask you to curb loud music, etc. that would impact residents. Quiet hours extend from 11 P.M. to 7:00 daily. Please advise us if you are traveling with a boat or other watercraft as Habersham has special overnight policies on this. Minimum main renter age: 25. Travelers with children under 10 or with pets need prior approval from hosts. A pet fee charged when indicated in the reservation or added manually if not indicated on the reservation. No smoking policy in effect inside or outside immediate outside of property.

Summary: This house is in a great location, and we both agreed that the house and neighborhood are absolutely lovely. We loved and ate at several of the local restaurants in downtown Habersham. It is a very walkable area and is extremely pet friendly. The house was immaculately clean and the owners were very responsive. We saw many beautiful flowers, trees, and cranes by the pond and even saw a couple of alligators in the water, but that was on the far side of Habersham, so unlikely they will ever stroll as far as this house, so no worries. It is a lovely well taken care of house and I highly recommend.

Summary: Beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood. Very clean. Upscale furnishings. Many amenities included. Comfortable living spaces. Didn’t need to bring a thing! Neighborhood had several restaurants and a shopping area. Pickle ball courts were fun too! Hosts live near by and respond to any needs within minutes. Highly recommend this home! Great value as well.

Summary: There are not enough wonderful things to be said about this property! The owners are attentive and communicative, the property is tastefully decorated to the smallest detail, it’s in a very nice area convenient to Beaufort and the surrounding area, and Habersham certainly offers a unique Low Country experience. Will definitely plan to stay here again.

Summary: My parents, husband, 2 pups, and me stayed in Habersham from June 15-29th, and al thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is a sweet home only blocks away from downtown Habersham. The whole neighborhood is very walkable. We rented a golf cart for the first week, and enjoyed driving around and looking at all of the beautiful homes. We loved that the dog park was an easy walking distance away and the pool, while a little further, was a beautiful place to relax, swim, and enjoy the sun. We loved how quiet the whole area was. It seems many of the homes are vacation homes for many, so the area, at least this time of year, isn't congested and very peaceful. We went to Miramare restaurant in downtown Habersham for Father’s Day, and we all loved it! We ate at the pizza place, bought a charcuterie board from the wine and cheese place, bakery from Mary Lou's, and ate at Tomfoolery a couple times too! All right at your fingertips. Even though it was hot during our stay, we spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch because the fan and breeze made it comfortable. We also enjoyed exploring the whole area from downtown Beaufort, Penn Center on St. Helena Island, Kiawah Island, Bluffton, Hilton Head, Savannah, Charleston, and Folly Beach. We didnt make it to Hunting Island- that will be another time. The home was overall clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Jeff and Faith were available to answer any questions we had. Habersham is so beautiful- it's almost perfect!

Summary: I loved my stay at this lovely, clean & well appointed cottage at 1 Hamlet Row so much that I did not want to leave. It is beautifully decorated, has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, all the comforts of home. The location is ideal as it is conveniently located with a short, easy drive to Beaufort. I found it very easy to get around from sightseeing to grocery shopping to Hunting Island beach. I loved taking my daily walks through this charming town filled with parks & ponds & lush greenery & giant oak trees. Faith & Jeffrey are lovely & responsive hosts who take great care of their cottage. I highly recommend 1 Hamlet Row.
