A small but luxurious romantic cabin north of Shreveport, Louisiana located in God's Country Resort's west campus, which is located only minutes from downtown Shreveport's casinos and nightlife. The real log cabin features a luxurious air tub Jacuzzi inside the bedroom, a full kitchen with appliances, electric fireplace, recliners, and a sleeper sofa. The bathroom is equipped with modern vessel sinks, heated and lighted toilet seats with bidet functions. Each cabin has its own private concrete picnic table, fire ring, and charcoal grill. Guests will enjoy resort amenities including a swimming pool located just across the driveway from the cabins, jumping pillows, two disc golf courses, playgrounds, swingsets, our indoor mining sleuth, paddle boat rentals, peddle cart rentals, golf cart rentals, and much more! While at the resort, take a drive over to the East campus where you will find spectacular mountain top views overlooking the Soda Lake Wildlife Management Area with another jumping pillow, 9-hole disc golf course and two more catch & release fishing ponds. Our owners are severly allergic to pets so there is a strict no pet policy on all of our cabins and lodging options.

Summary: It was unclear to us whether it was the VRBO app or the location set by the host, but the location in proximity to downtown Shreveport was highly inaccurate. This caused us to commute multiple times during our stay and later in the evening than we had planned, which was a concern. We debated taking ride share services, but unfortunately there were no drivers in that area of town. Overall, the location itself was fantastic and the hosts communicated very well. No issues there. Just the inaccuracy with the location that caused some issues for us.

Summary: The cabin was amazing and very comfortable in every way! We were close enough to town to drive in and hit some flea markets and book stores as well as taking a stroll around the river walk. We had plenty of privacy in the cabin and felt secure with the gated entry. The owner prepared a special touch for our stay. They went above and beyond and I'm looking forward to a return visit.

Summary: Cabin was everything that was advertised. Owner went above and beyond. Made sure we had everything we needed and even left an Easter surprise for my son. Definitely recommend this place to anyone going to Shreveport. Nice and peaceful and quiet place to enjoy some down time.
