IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The government in Cyprus has recently introduced further measures to minimise the risk of Covid-19. With effect from 10th January 2022, guests are now required to provide evidence when making a reservation that they:

This luxurious house is located in the remote village of Vouni at the foot of the Troodos mountains. Mixing modern luxury within a traditional setting, the Balcony House offers unrivalled peace and tranquility for people wanting to get away from it all!
The Balcony House was lovingly restored in 2014/2015 to bring the comforts and style of modern day living to this beautiful home, whilst still retaining the charm of a village dwelling.
The house provides bespoke luxury accommodation for 2 - 4 people and is furnished in a contemporary style, to the highest of standards.
Please note: The house can accommodate 6 people although this requires the use of the L shaped sofa in the lounge as beds for the 2 additional guests.
Downstairs offers open plan living, with a large space for cooking, dining and relaxing. The lounge area has a traditional open log fire which is an added bonus in the winter months! From here, doors open onto the outside terrace where guests can enjoy the comfortable outside space with views of the swimming pool below and beyond to the vineyards in the distance.
The house has a wrap around balcony which can be accessed from both bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king size bed with marble en-suite bathroom. French doors lead out onto the spacious balcony - an ideal place for a relaxing drink at the end of the day. The second bedroom has large twin beds and access to a separate bathroom opposite.
The property ensures guests have total privacy and seclusion, and provides the most stunning views across the valley.
Please note that the property is unsuitable for people with reduced mobility, as the terrain is rocky with uneven paths and road surfaces.
A car is essential due to the remote location of the village!

Summary: The balcony house, and the village of Vouni are excellent if you want to experience a more quiet and authentic part of Cyprus. The house is exceptionally nice and well equipped. In combination with the great and very responsive care of Andy and Nick, you will feel immediately at home and want to come back.

Summary: We were very happy to stay at this beautifully renovated place in the cute little village of Vouni. The house is on the outer road of Vouni with a great view out onto the hills and the see, but it also is only a 3 min walk to the center of the village where there are a couple of Tavernas and cafes. The villa itself is beautifully renovated with a mix of modern touches and old-style town house stone walls and floors. The villa has all the comfort you would want and its main attractions are the two large balconies looking out over the hills as well as the small swimming pool, which is great for a refreshing dip. Will definitely be coming here again. Lovely people managing the villa as well and great and easy communication.

Summary: Balcony House is a lovely, well presented and comfortable home to relax in. It is very thoughtfully equipped and we appreciated the starter food provisions. We needed to park 5 minutes uphill walk from the property which was the only drawback. Vouni itself offers limited grocery shopping options (closed during our short stay) however nearby Saittas is a pleasant drive and fulfils everyday needs. Overall, a recommended property.

Summary: My family and I spent 3 great weeks in the lovely Balcony House. The house is fantastic, practical, yet comfortable and beautifully designed with lots of eye for details. A small pool, but big enough to cool down or a relaxing 'float' on the water. An original and quiet village, but with a surprising lot of restaurants and bars. And of course two very kind and helpfull hosts. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider coming back again in the future

Summary: comfortable accomodations boardering on plush. very helpful and attentive througought the stay. the village is just what we were looking for, quaint without tourist hustle bustle. made a couple of day outings, but preferred just kicking back around the house and pool.

Summary: Dear Caroline, congratulation to your excellent Balcony House. It was the prefect hide away for us on Cyprus. It started with a very warm welcome when we arrived in the middle of the night (thanks Andy for staying awake). We immediatly felt like home and enjoyed the nice initial supply you prepared for us. The house is tasteful decorated, completely equipped and nicely located. A perfect starting point for exploring the Troodos mountain range, nearby wineyards, the beaches....or just to relax and enjoying the House and the private pool. Summary: From the minute we made the booking we were made to feel welcome. Caroline was attentive and answered questions quickly. On arrival, Andy continued the excellent customer service. We were immediately impressed with the property which has been restored to a high standard. Great use of the space and excellent attention to detail makes the Balcony House, a luxurious home from home, with everything you need. The house was clean and cosy and warm! Vouni is a beautiful sleepy village and we loved being there and were also welcomed into one of the local restaurants by the owner Laura and her family. An excellent location for a relaxing break to recharge the batteries or as a base for exploring the area. We loved our time there.

Summary: From the moment you're driving towards Vouni you can see the beautiful breathtaking views. You immediately start to feel relaxed as you're going up and down the windy roads. We were met in Vouni by the lovely Sue and Graham who took us to The Balcony House and showed us where our home would be for the next week. Walking through the front door felt like we were walking into pure elegance. Every single detail had been put in place, every single room looked like it was out of a magazine. Everything you could wish for in a house was there. In the kitchen, the drawers and the cupboards had everything you need. The same applied to the bathroom, drawers with toiletries in if some had been forgotten, first aid kit if needed or a pair sunglasses! Every single thing had been thought of incase it was needed. If it's early in the morning, lunch time, afternoon, early evening or late at night, The Balcony House is a truly magical place to stay. The feeling of being completely relaxed in the elegant surroundings inside the house soothes you as you feel so at home. Then when you look outside, sit outside, sunbathe or swim the view is breathtakingly beautiful, the peacefulness is amazing. You can hear a pin drop! To add to our amazing stay, is the beautiful village itself, Vouni. If I said it was like being in a novel I'm not exaggerating. It feels like you are truly experiencing Cyprus but without the tourists in a village hidden away in the foothills of the mountains. All the local villagers are very friendly and speak good English. There are two places to eat in Vouni; Alexandros Taverna and Takis Taverna, both serve lovely food with a really friendly atmosphere within perfect walking distance from the house. Our stay at The Balcony House was very special to us as it was our honeymoon, a wedding gift from a member of our family. It was the most perfect and beautiful place to stay, especially after such a magical wedding. Thank you so much for a wonderful house to stay in. We will definitely be back!
