This luxurious home-away-from-home offers tropical garden features as well as a private infinity pool surrounded by chaise lounge chairs for basking in the sun. In the fully equipped kitchen, you will find granite countertops and all stainless steel appliances, including a separate laundry room with a washer and dryer.
This vacation home is custom-designed with spacious and tranquil accommodations, perfect for your stay- whether you're a family or several couples!
Each of the 4 bedrooms are fully air conditioned with their own private en suite bathrooms with marble flooring, custom closets and Egyptian cotton linens. In addition, every bedroom includes its own balcony and ceiling fan.
Within the gates of Cerro del Vigia there are tennis and Mexican paddle courts available to guests. Both Las Gatas and La Ropa beach are just minutes away from Casa Cascada where you can find restaurants, snorkel, parasail and many other enjoyable activities.

Summary: The property was simply amazing, with sweeping views of the ocean. We watched sunsets over the water, whales jumping and playing, and enjoyed the pool. The house was immaculate and beautifully appointed. We highly recommend having Carla come and prepare meals for you, she made the best chille rellenos we have ever had! Gloria is also super nice and checked in on us a few times to make sure everything was going well. We had one hiccup during our stay and Art was fast to reply and went over the top to help get it sorted out (Thanks Art!). The house is a bit away from the beaches, but we enjoyed the solace and views. Taxies are abundant and a ride to most places in town is 100-180 pesos. You can be to playa ropa in about 5 minutes. We did walk down to playas las gatas once and it was a bit tricky, there is a steep dirt path that leads down to beach access. The guards at the gate into calle del vigia were always pleasant and helped guide taxis to the house if it was their first time. If you need an atm with low fees the red one on the far left inside Soriana grocery store only charges 30 pesos. We recommend taking the ferry to isla ixtapa, the coral beach has lovely snorkling and is very gentle for all ages. There is a very nice restaurant that sits right on the shore. Their food and drinks were very good. We cant wait to come back and visit again!

Summary: Casa Cascada was such a delightful, relaxing retreat for our 3 week refresher to the many things we’ve always loved about Zihuatanejo! The Casa’s hilltop views of the Pacific and the Zihuatanejo Bay were a daily delight. The Casa is very well cared for by Gloria, the very congenial and helpful property mgr, and the household staff. Gloria was particularly responsive to anything that needed attention. The owner, Arthur, was also a delight to work on with.

Summary: Perfect house for our family. We loved the pool, outdoor patio, opening the main level to the outside. Kitchen was amazing for cooking and we appreciated having the washer and dryer. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which was ideal. Carla is an extraordinary chef and takes great care of the house. Be sure to secure reservations at the beach and navigate water supply ahead of time if you are traveling at the holidays. We got lucky on both fronts! Neighborhood is very secure and fun to walk. We also enjoyed the tennis!

Summary: The property is beautifully maintained, very clean and comfortable. The family loved having a private pool and spent hours playing together. Restaurants and La Ropa beach are minutes away. Very nice. I would recommend this home.

Summary: This property exceeded our expectations. It was clean and lovely and the perfect place for a week of relaxation and recovery. We had Csrla the cook and housecleaner make several meals for us and they were just perfect. The pool is refreshing and clean and provided refreshment from the heat and sun. Every night we delighted in watching the sun set from the patio. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds and linens were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms are large and well appointed with very effective air conditioning. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Summary: Art has a beautiful house. The views are spectacular and the private pool is awesome. It was heavily used! Be aware if you don’t have a car you will need to use taxis to get off the hill. I recommend getting one guys number and regularly using them. This is a great place for a family retreat.

Summary: The property was as described. Beautiful view. Nice clean pool. Well-appointed kitchen. Very safe neighborhood. You will need a car or taxi to get anywhere (high up the mountain overlooking Las Gatas beach and the bay.

Summary: This is a wonderful house in a gated community in the hills of Zihuatanejo. The views from the terrace are amazing, looking out toward the Pacific Ocean to one side and the bay to the other, with amazing evening sunsets (and even a combination of sunrise and the waning moon in the mornings). The location of the property gives you easy access to lovely beaches, a charming town, and fun day trips, like snorkeling, kayaking, horseback riding and other activities, in the area. The house, including 4 bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms, feels spacious, clean and well-equipped and serviced. My wife and I stayed for just over a week together with our two teenage daughters - and we all loved it.

Summary: Where to begin! We had a fantastic stay at this casa. The home is gorgeous with a wonderful three-story lay out, and a most stunning view of the ocean. We enjoyed stunning sunsets nightly followed by breathtaking stars. There was always a light breeze, so it was never too hot to enjoy the deck. There were only 4 of us - me, my husband and our two teenagers (13 and 14) - but we made use of every inch of the house and appreciated the spaciousness. The house is bright, airy, quiet, very well kept and comfortable. We purchased groceries at the front end of our stay that kept us supplied for breakfasts and several lunches. We hired Carla, the housekeeper, three nights, and she cooked up fantastic Mexican meals that were among our favorite meals of our trip. It was helpful to have her feasts at the end of touring days. Art was very responsive on the front and back end of our stay and went above and beyond to help us. Gloria, the property manager, was equally responsive and helpful. We felt completely safe in the gated community and the security guards were very friendly and took their jobs seriously. Zihuat is our favorite town in Mexico now. It's quaint, beautiful and not teaming with gringos. Quite the contrary, there's an authenticity to life and the people in Zihuat. Brush up on your Spanish before traveling, as you'll find it helpful for getting around. Also save some money for the end because you'll want to tip a lot of awesome helpers.
