Bambu Treehouse is one of the only house rentals in playa la ropa zihuatanejo that is one with nature experiencing the outdoors inside. The birds land in the trees next to the house.
Butterflies abound. There is a panaramic view from the bedroom and view from everyroom in the house. You can see the sunsets moonsets parriots flying over and listen to the waves. The house is one floor but dont worry you will get exercise. For your convience there is maid service every day, wifi,cell phone and fans. There is a lot of colorful folkart and paintings. The house is constructed using natural wood from the area and accents by Zozaya.
There is a queen size bed and mosquito net. There is a second bedroom with queen. The living room has 2 couches table for 4 stove refrig coffee maker and everything you need for a gourmet dinner. The market has good veggies. It is a five minute walk to the beach, convience store, massages,restaurants and places to sit.
El centro or diwntown is 15 minutes by bus or taxi. It is a 45 minute walk. You can stroll along the malicon with many restaurants, fiserman with their catch and music from local bands.
The modern tourist orientated resort Ixtapa is only 5 miles away.
You dont need to rent a car because all is in walking distance.Thereare many beaches to discover. Gere you can paddleboard,surf,snorkel, fish,scuba,horsebackride and parasail.
This house is for adventurers romantics, birdwatchers people who like nature and the outdoors. The house has a beautiful garden.

Summary: What a wonderful hideaway at the Bambu Treehouse. And Grace is the perfect host. We stayed a week and it wasn’t long enough. It was all so easy. The market is a short bus ride away. The beach is close at hand. And there are lots of restaurants to choose from. The Treehouse, itself, is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Juaquen came in every day and worked his magic, leaving it in perfect order. The ambiance that Grace has created here is so special and comforting and peaceful. We will be back.

Summary: Could not recommend this place enough. Stunning view of the coast, perfect for sunrise + sunset. 5 minute walk to Playa Ropa and next to a trail to Playa Gatas. Grace was a phenomenal host, giving us space but also offering suggestions with a smile. Even lent me shoes to run in! Her artwork is stunning throughout the house, as well as everything else (blankets, baskets, even the dishware was beautiful). I plan on passing along this place to anyone visiting the area. 10/10. Jaquin is also extremely friendly and keeps the place beautiful throughout your stay. What a magical spot!

Summary: We loved the Bambu Treehouse! The location was great, a few minutes walking to the beach and restaurants, and also close to the main road to catch taxis to go downtown. The house itself is lovely and homey, with books and interesting art everywhere. Nice kitchen. It is open to the outside though, so you will have a couple of small insect and other critter visitors :) which we didn't mind at all! The birds are right outside the window in the morning, and view is great. Grace is a lovely, gracious host. Definitely recommend to anyone who appreciates being close to nature, a little adventure, and a place with lots of character!

Summary: A romantic treetop view of the bay and the setting moon. Many good restaurants a short walk to the beach. We felt at home quickly in the unique setting. Staying here takes one back to a simpler time. Very relaxing and sweet. We will be back.
