Summary: Wow, this place was amazing! It was perfect for a couple that had never been to Barbados. It was close to the beaches, some local restaurants, and small grocery stores. We rent bicycles which made it easier to go explore nearby beaches and markets. The property manager Katie is fantastic, she helped with taxis, local venues, and groceries. I would definitely come back!

Summary: Everything you need for a quiet getaway for two people. Quiet neighborhood with a cozy lovely private pool complete with umbrellas, lounge chairs, outdoor shower, and BBQ. Kitchen was clean and stocked with the bare essentials to do your own cooking if that’s your thing. All kitchen appliances worked very well. Bedroom was a bit on the small side but comfy and cozy. AC in bedroom only, but that’s all we really needed as there was always a breeze coming through the apt. Washer and drier is on property and laundry lines were a nice extra for drying clothes in the breeze. Internet and TV was a bit spotty but still worked for us. There is internet at the front of the property and another log in at the back. Beach and groceries all within walking distance. About 7min to beach and 15-20 min to grocery store. Very close to bud line as well. Property manager (Hayley) and owner (Rick) were very accommodating and even let us checkout at bit later because of our delayed flight. All and all a very safe and positive experience at this property. We even had a family of monkeys just outside our apt one day during our stay.

Summary: We loved our stay at Villa Riana! The one bedroom Villa suited our needs wonderfully. The property was clean upon our arrival and was cleaned 2 times per week (Thank you Angie)! We were a nice 15 minute walk to the Massey Store in Oistins and about another 5 minute walk to the Oistins fish market. Maxwell Beach in in close proximity as was Dover Beach (20 minute walk). We ran into an issue with our departure date (totally my fault) and Haley and Angie were quick to reply and accommodate us for 1 more night. We love to cook so we felt there should have been a few better quality frying pans and sharp knives available! Overall, we LOVED our stay here!

Summary: The apartments are very clean and well equipped for a longer stay intended as self catering. The owner is very helpful in any issue. The beach and groceries are in walking distance. Washing machine is shared, not it the apartment.

Summary: This apt was located in a great spot, easy walk to either Oistins or Dover beach if you chose to walk. However 5 min walk to access public transportation. It was safe, clean and well equipped. Rick and Elsa were always quick to respond to any questions. Loved our stay there and would definitely book again!

Summary: This was our first trip to Barbados, and booking with Rick for the one bedroom villa was quick and easy. He was very flexible in adding a few extra days when one of our other bookings fell through, and was quick to answer all of our emailed questions. Rick spends the peak season in Barbados, so it was good to have him close at hand to deal directly with any questions or concerns we had after we arrived. The villa is very conveniently located to that part of the island, the neighbourhood is quiet and attractive and very safe feeling. It is an easy walk into Oistins, and about a ten minute walk to Butterfly Beach, the closest, and in our opinion, the nicest local beach. The main road is close by, so it is just a short walk to catch buses and ZR's, if you have the nerve to ride in them. We got along quite nicely without a car for the time we were there. The villa is reasonably new, and it was well cleaned and maintained, and supplied with good towels, both pool and bath. The pool was great to have and use, even with nice beaches that close. There was a BBQ grill that we made good use of. WiFi was quick with a strong signal. The bed was quite comfortable, but we didn't really like the pillows, personal taste. Our AC worked well, but apparently not in all the units. The complex is quite new, but it has a few issues that need tended to before they get out of hand. We pointed some things out to Rick, and he was quite receptive to hearing about them, so hopefully he tends to them before they grow into bigger problems. The dishes and cutlery need to be replaced - they are less than basic and worn, four mismatched glasses, plates, and such. The water pressure in the shower was very low, although it seemed fine in the kitchen. Providing a few more supplies would be greatly appreciated, as there was no dish cloth, dish detergent, paper towels or much else except toilet tissue and coffee filters. Rick needs to change the wording of his information as the laundry was "on site" and shared by both staff and guests, not "ensuite" as indicated in his amenities. But there was never a problem using the common washer, and there was no cost to us. We stayed for two and a half weeks, and it was a great base to travel around Barbados from. The pros outweighed the cons. I would recommend this as a good place to stay once Rick has attended to a few of the shortcomings.
