2 Bedroom Apartment in Torquay

Little Merida is a luxury apartment within a Victorian Villa. It is situated above Beacon Cove, a few minutes walk from Torquay harbour, town centre and near beaches.
The property is accessed via the main gates with a gravel drive and there is 24-hour security.
The apartment is accessed by an external staircase and finished to a luxurious modern standard with granite worktops and space to relax. Sorry, we are unable to accommodate those in a wheel chair.
If you enjoy walking, cycling, sailing or spending time at the beach we are in the perfect location for your holiday!
Little Merida has two bedrooms and sleeps five. There are additional fold away childrens beds on request. The apartment is accessed via stone steps past a brick built BBQ.
Kitchen Diner/Lounge
The kitchen is fitted with a granite worktop, fully integrated appliances, American Fridge Freezer, gas hob, fan oven, dishwasher and microwave and a full compliment of crockery and cutlery. The dining room table seats eight people.
There are two sofas in the lounge one of which is a sofa bed, a wall mounted television and coffee table to eat, drink and relax.
There is a selection of books and games in the apartment.
A combi boiler provides hot water and heating.
Bedroom One
In bedroom one there is a king-sized zip link bed which can be separated into two 2’6 singles with bedside tables and lights. There is a wardrobe with storage space and a television.
Bedroom Two
In bedroom two, there is a double bed with bedside tables and lights. There is a hanging space, chest of draws and a television.
Family Bathroom
Large walk in shower, w/c, full size seperate bath with shower, basin with vanity unit below and towel rails.
Utility Room
Utility room with laundry and drying facilities, an iron and ironing board.
Outdoor space
There is a secluded court yard with tables and chairs and brick built BBQ.
Outside on the raised lawn is a picnic table/bench for catching the sun as it goes down with a drink.
Towels, bed linen, tea towels are provided as well as initial complimentary tea, coffee and sugar, dishwasher tabs and washing up liquid. Travel cot and high chair available on request.

Summary: Plus: v clean & tidy. Modern equipment.comfy sofas.parking. Cons: slippery shower base - needs a rubber mat.need booklet on equipment to explain the controls. Needs a secondary form of heating eg oil fired electric radiator.

Summary: From when we arrived to when we left the hosts made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible For central Torquay this is the best location the apartment was superb everything was as described as in the advertisement for us it was the best place to stay 5 star

Summary: Absolutely superb ... the apartment was pristine and absolutely perfect for what we wanted, a home from home. The photos are spot on, really modern and very cosy. Everything you could need. So close to the local amenities, less than a 5 minute walk down the hill. Fantastic restaurants, most are dog friendly... we tried a few...and if you like fish the 'Offshore' restaurant right on the harbour front has an amazing menu with locally caught fish of the day. And the local Irish bar literally at the bottom of the hill has lively entertainment every night and some rather strong local ciders on tap....verrry nice. And Louise, our host, is sooo lovely, really friendly...nothing is too much for her.... and informative too of local beaches and walks for our little pooch Rosie. All in all a really lovely few days away in a dog friendly town..in a perfect apartment with fantastic hosts. We will definitely book again. Thank you Louise....amazing x

Summary: I have just returned from a wonderful, relaxing and peaceful stay at Little Merida. It is a pristine apartment and well appointed too. Location was excellent just 2 mins from the harbour which was close to lots of restaurants and cafes and a great place to explore Torquay from. Laura is an excellent host and was welcoming and friendly, offering some really nice places to visit - Angels at Babbacombe for a cream tea for a start! I have had an excellent stay and will return.

Summary: Lovely new apartment. Everything was incredibly clean and brand new. Lots of family games to play should you so wish. Great location. We barely used our car as we were located so close to the main town and beach.
