Positive: Location was exceptional. Spacious room. We chose the property as it had a kitchen and washing machine so these were good facilities.
Negative: The property is great but if the owner is looking for some ideas to improve we can suggest the following. Only 1 wine glass. A high proportion of the crockery is chipped or cracked. The laundry room feels really dirty and messy, especially with the blood and mould stained mattress stored in there. Shower head in the main bathroom is broken.
Summary: Good stay, unbeatable location, easy check in and out.

Positive: Bilbao isn't very big and it was easy to walk everywhere from this apartment. This is a big apartment up some stairs, which was fine with us. The apartment is very clean. We were able to watch Netflix and other subscription channels on the TV which was good as we were travellig with a child and so weren't out in the evening. The area seems safe and although the road is busy, it wasn't too noisy.
Negative: A key box would be a good idea as going down the street to the bar was a bit awkward with kids and luggage. The beds are quite hard and there is only one thin long pillow /bolster per bed. we ended up with neck ache and I found it really hard to sleep. A lot of the items in the apartment could do with updating; the towels are worn and plates chipped; there are stains on rugs and it all feels a bit worn out. There was no cutting knife, just a blunt bread knife and no chopping board so it was really hard to prepare food to cook. The sofa is incrediblly uncomfortable, it sags in the middle and it's very difficult to relax on it. Just be aware there is no wifi, even though the TV is clearly connected to WIFI so that would be easy to set up. The pictures do not look anything like the apartment we stayed in.
Summary: Good location, apartment showing wear and tear- definitely not luxury

Positive: Very good location and good for a couple of nights. The company were very helpful with locating keys and it was all relaxed.
Negative: The lounge was great for hanging out in. The beds weren’t very comfortable, they were hard.

Negative: The instructions said we would be met outside the property and given the keys. If nobody was there we had to go to a bar round the corner and collect them. The keys were not at the bar but they thought they might be at another bar and confirmed this with the other bar, so we had to walk to another location with all of our luggage. However when we collected the keys they were not sure which apartment we were staying in. We phoned the host but the call went to voicemail and he never called us back. Consequently we had to try the keys in the apartment door the second bar thought might be the apartment and fortunately it was that one, otherwise we would have had to try the key in every door until we found the correct one. We were there for 4 nights and had no contact with the apartment owner.
Summary: Apartment was good but access to the apartment and dealings with the host were poor.
