Our 2,700 square foot, 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath luxury home situated on 17 acres offers privacy and seclusion while providing ideal all-season access to the area's top attractions. Located a mere 7-minute drive from the heart of Historic Downtown Durango, our guests can achieve maximum social distancing while taking full advantage of the one-of-a-kind shopping, dining, and arts and culture experiences that Durango has to offer.
Experience Colorado-life at it's fullest in our home, which features multiple outdoor living spaces, unmatched views of the La Plata Mountains, and unparalleled access to miles of surrounding trail networks and public lands. Our home features a gourmet kitchen with granite counter-tops and stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors throughout, outdoor gas grill, air conditioning, two living spaces, and tons of additional game amenities including board games and ping pong table in the garage. The home is equipped with a Keurig coffee pot.

NOTE: 4WD/AWD required in winter (Thanksgiving through late March).
In addition to the main residence, there are two additional structures on the property. Neither building is occupied, and guests will not have access to them during their stay.
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this place so much that we extended our stay from 5 to 9 nights! The setting is outstanding: glorious mountain view in the distance from the front of the house, hills rising up from right outside your back door. The property is beautifully landscaped and maintained with multiple outdoor sitting areas, including a really special one half-way up the hills behind the house. Wake up to deer grazing outside your door, greet them visit again at sunset. Inside, the house is equally incredible. A fantastic kitchen, a master bedroom with mountain views, a master bath with a double tub floor to ceiling windows for more views (take a bath at night and you're looking right out into a sky full of stars). VRC was terrific to work with. We are already planning our return next year!

Summary: We had a great time staying at this home in Durango. There were several comfortable areas in and outside the home to relax and enjoy the views. The large kitchen provided us with everything we needed to cook our meals. We even used the outdoor grill to cook fish. In the evenings, we spent time outdoors surrrounded by lovely aspens which added to the ambience of the home.

Summary: The stay was as good as I could hope for Minus the Alien Zombie abduction of my 17 y.o. Due to the fact my wife could not figure how to lock certain doors, so of course upon return from town at night she could not find my son (who was outside on phone with girlfriend) so automatically her mind went to it being her fault because she couldn’t lock doors! But besides that drama the deer the route to town The bike rides The hikes The insanely great bike route just miles from house! Right near San Juan cycles And yes the House made it as the best central location we could have had Great Great Great

Summary: This property was great for our family of 5. It was incredibly clean, very nice and easily laid out. The home was also well stocked w toys and games for kids. The kitchen was one of the best stocked homes for kitchen tools supplies that we've ever rented. The only negative (minor) is the decor is dated..... that's not why you go to the mountains. Plus side to that is the house furnishings weren't fancy we did't have to worry with our kids which tends to happen when a place is set up with too nice of furniture.

Summary: My extended family (six adults, two kids ages 5 and 7) and I spent five days together at this incredible mountain getaway. We could not have hoped for a more perfect space for our post-pandemic reunion! The property is exactly as pictured--spacious, peaceful (at the end of a quiet neighborhood road) with spectacular mountain sunset views. The three bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. Not a detail overlooked! The kitchen was very well appointed, the outdoor patio spaces were perfect places for us to relax and catch up and plan our adventures for the day. The garage even had plenty of space to store our adventure gear. We would return in a heartbeat!

Summary: Short drive from downtown Durango but more importantly tucked away on the side of a mountain with outstanding views. Nicer than my home. Beautiful big kitchen with open floor plan. All the amenities and then some. Stand up paddle board and ping pong table (we did not use but are there). Clean. Looks brand new. High end kitchen. Great outdoor spaces. Photos on website made it look smaller than actually is. (Weird). Did I mention the views.
