The Jaw Dropping Views from this property are thanks to the location on the cliffside of Mt Washington. The road to the property is steep and narrow and can be a challenge in winter weather conditions. While the City will maintain the road, we have no control over how soon or how often plowing and salting will occur. Therefore, we recommend that you consider using an all wheel drive vehicle during your winter visit. Motorcycles and two wheel drive vehicles are not optimal during snow events. Furthermore, large vehicles like RV's or oversized passenger vans will not fit on the streets or driveway and not recommended at any time of the year. Consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance in the winter months in case you are unable to access the property during your booked dates. This hasn't occurred for a guest at our property yet, but we want you to be aware that it could happen. Weather and road conditions are not the responsibility of the property owner. We keep the property's driveway and sidewalks clean and clear for our guests in Winter, provided access is available to our snow removal contractor.

Summary: This was the second time we stayed at this property and once again it did not disappoint. The property, view, amenities, and communication was excellent. There is construction taking place on the street but it did not affect our stay at. Will definitely stay again when we visit Pittsburgh. Thank you again Terri.

Summary: You will not be disappointed if you stay @ this home. The view is awesome, the property is clean and well equipped, and Terri is great to work with. The house is on a very steep road but once you arrive the view is worth it. Would definitely stay here again when we are in Pittsburgh.

Summary: This home was perfectly located to access all Pittsburgh has to offer. The house is well appointed, with a wonderful kitchen, and the views can't be beat. Easy to use tech (wifi, tv, etc) made our stay hassel free. There's also 3 parking spots which is appreciated. Owners were excellent communicators and very helpful.

Summary: This house checks all the boxes -- cleanliness, view, location, amenities. The kitchen is well stocked and totally usable. The bathrooms are beautiful and the beds comfy. The decks are out of this world. Would stay here again. Thanks for a delightful stay.

Summary: The property sits high above the river, providing spectacular views of the city. Every room is situated to take full advantage of the sweeping views with large windows and two decks, one deck attached to the primary bedroom. The home has modern decor and amenities. We found it warm and inviting. The large kitchen is well appointed with gourmet appliances. Although we didn’t prepare any meals, the kitchen has all the necessities we would need, and then some. The property is very clean. The only negative for us is the exterior noise. There are trains at the bottom of the mountain that run all day and a fair amount through the night. Also, the noise of the city travels much farther than we expected, likely due to the accoustics provided by the river. Cars or motorcycles speeding along the streets either were distinctly heard from inside the house, in the wee hours of the night. For us light sleepers, it was difficult to get a good night’s sleep. If not for the noise factor, we would return to this property.

Summary: Stayed over Christmas and the owners had a tree decorated, which made a world of difference. The views are spectacular, and even though the weather was brutal for a couple of days, we were very cozy. The house is superbly equipped and has almost everything you need, if you forget something. Thanks for using bathroom containers that don't require the Hubble telescope to read the labels! When we're in Pittsburgh this will be our home from home. Thanks for the great stay.

Summary: Near the top of Mount Washington, this property has amazing views of the Pittsburgh downtown skyline from all rooms as well as the two level decks. The inside of the home appears brand new with a great kitchen. House wide connected Alexa and Ring doorbell create a cool tech vibe and the artwork is cool modern chic. A spotless and welcoming home super close to downtown and the rest of this easily managed city. Probably no better private home to be rented in the area.
