Summary: The property was perfect for a lovely, relaxing holiday, with easy access to beautiful beaches in Spain and Portugal, groceries and essentials, and all of the comforts of home. The pool was fabulous. Hosts Gabby and Rod were super responsive. We would 100% recommend and would be so pleased to return.

Summary: We grew up in Spain but live in the US. We wanted to go back and visit family and rented Gaby's house. We absolutely loved the time we had there. The pool is beautiful, the outdoors grill area was something we used every day and the layout of the rooms is great: my wife and I had the master bedroom upstairs while my inlaws were on the first floor. Gaby and her husband were very nice and super responsive. Overall, we had an amazing time!

Summary: We stayed here for a week in March 2022. The villa is extremely comfortable, well furnished and well equipped. It has a massive 13 metre swimming pool, unfortunately just too cold to use in March! Gabriele, the owner is a charming and helpful, meeting us on arrival and giving useful information and advice. We have not been to Costa de la Luz area before, but, having explored it, we think Isla Christina is one of the best bases to choose.

Summary: The Villa was excellent and had everything we could possibly need. The BBQ area was great and we enjoyed the local produce BBQ’d most evenings. Gaby was always on hand to assist with any queries we may have and it was a pleasure to meet both her and Rod. We would happily return when visiting this area again.

Summary: We spent three weeks at the house and found it the perfect place to unwind, with lots of welcoming spaces indoors and out, on multiple levels, where we could gather or simply have some quiet down time. The house is perfectly appointed, with every kitchen utensil one could ever want. We didn't use the pool as we were there in March, but it seemed really inviting and well maintained. The house is light-filled and airy -- and decorated with an impressive sense of style. And the owners could not have been more helpful. If you're looking to slip away to a largely undiscovered part of southern Spain (just a few miles from Portugal), this is a place you should seriously consider. We highly recommend it.

Summary: Property and especially comfort were exceptional. Wonderful kitchen. We really struggled to find the property and it was good to be able to phone the curator regularly on arrival in the pueblo. Only one TV channel available on arrival, none from day two! Not a problem, but could have been on longer stay.

Summary: The villa was just as described. Our girls loved the pool and it had a great deep end that surprised us. There were a variety of seating areas around the villa and we loved eating under the very pretty white flowering plant that spread out over the overhanging wooden beams. We needed the air con at night but we just had it on silent mode so it didn’t bother us. During the day we had our bedroom windows open so that kept the room cool as there was a welcoming breeze each day that meant you didn’t overheat. Gaby and Rod are very pleasant owners and helpful. We went out for quite a few meals locally and particularly like Bar Abuelo Manus in Isla Cristina. We saw it had a good rating on Trip Advisor and normally we would have walked passed it as it was just a Bar but the reviews on Trip Advisor were correct. Seafood to die for with great service. We mostly shopped in Lidl in Isla Cristina. Delicious bakery! We did trips to Seville, Ayamonte and over the border to Monte Gordo. We barely scratched the surface of the things we could do. We will be back

Summary: We had a wonderful relaxed time in the villa. It was so quiet most of the time we thought we were the only ones here. Great location for trips out to Portugal too. And our hosts had very good recommendations for food places. The villa had everything we could possibly need and the bbq area is fantastic. It was brilliant for three couples staying with plenty of space for everyone to sit and chat together if seperatly. One of our party is already planning on coming back again. Thanks to Rod and Gabby for such a hassle free relaxed process from initial booking to checking out. We would deffo recommend to others.
