Positive: Great location, right in the middle of Cat Ba. Staff were friendly and understanding. Big bedrooms with regular cleaning, comfy beds and both a ceiling fan + aircon
Negative: Big cockroaches kept appearing in the bathroom.. We don't know where they came from but we may have had an unlucky room because we didn't see them anywhere else on the property. Eek!

Positive: Good location slightly out of busy area but still walkable. Beautiful property. Really friendly and helpful staff. We booked Captain Jack's boat tour of Lan Ha Bay through the hotel and would definitely recommend. Breakfast is by menu order rather than buffet.
Negative: The hotel is near a primary school that projects loud music around 7.30 am.

Positive: Lovely big room. Nice terrace area for breakfast. We had a very good lunch there too. They did our laundry without any fuss and helped us book a tour. They prefer cash payment.
Negative: The property was great. Cat Ba was a little disappointing with an apparent lack of restaurants but the staff directed us to a great vegan restaurant which was great.

Key features inc.: Welcoming and super-kind owners Clean and spacious rooms (have a balcony if you can) Central yet peaceful location...oasis-like courtyard Surrounded by mountain views Breakfast excellent I would highly recommend staying here, we loved it!!
