Summary: My husband and I planned this trip as a week of rest and quality time with each other. This location was perfect for that. The home is on a beautiful, safe residential street one block from Coliseum Park with easy walking to coffee shops, restaurants, and cute retail shops. The interior and furnishings are comfortable, so it was easy to lounge around and get good night sleep. The Lower Garden District is full of beautiful historic homes nearby, allowing for lovely daily walks. My favorite time, by far, was taking morning coffee while sitting in the rocking chairs on the front veranda. Brenda was a perfect hostess. She was responsive and made the stay, not only easy, but special. I cannot thank her enough for her kindness.I would recommend this stay to anyone who wants to travel to New Orleans and be out of the hustle and bustle. I also would not hesitate to stay hear again.

Summary: We absolutely loved these rooms in a beautiful Garden District home. We loved the high ceilings, wooden floors, rocking chairs on front porch and the whole New Orleans feel of our rooms!! The notebook that was left pointed us in the right direction for great food, venues and transportation. We will definitely use you again on our next trip to NOLA!

Summary: My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. It was a lovely classic old home. Located in a great neighborhood with a wonderful coffee shop one the next block for breakfast. It was easy to get to, plenty of parking for our car too. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and going for long walks down the street to the shops, restaurants, and near by parks.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay at Brenda’s place! The house itself is beautiful and feels like quintessential NOLA. we particularly enjoyed spending the mornings drinking our coffee on the front porch rocking chairs. We loved the location! We were able to get to the quarter easily, but also really enjoyed exploring Magazine Street and the lower garden district where there are a lot of great food spots and cute shops. Don’t miss the Hotel Vincent! A “haunted” gem (an old orphanage turned hotel) with a beautiful bar! We will definitely be back to stay again! Thanks for a great trip!

Summary: This place was so perfect for our recent trip to NOLA! We started the trip by getting all needed info sent to us by the host, which made arriving and checking in so easy! Then we stepped into a beautiful property that is absolutely perfect for 2 people. We loved the location as it was close enough to do all of the nightlife things we wanted to do but so peaceful at night and in the mornings! My favorite was sitting on the porch with my coffee. Literally a short walk to 2 great coffee shops and an amazing breakfast spot! I would hands down stay here again, and my husband and I even said when we left that we will check this property first in the future when we return to NOLA!

Summary: This was one of the best VRBO properties that I have stayed in ! Brenda(our hostess) was attentive, thoughtful, and beyond gracious. This rental had everything you could think of and was close to the French Quarter but far enough away to be relaxing. We came for our 3 year anniversary and had a wonderful time. Brenda went above and beyond making sure our little getaway was perfect. Thank you so much !

Summary: I should knock a point off somewhere so you don't think I'm a robot. But it really was a perfect experience and I can't make myself do it. Nice neighborhood. Close to French Quarter (but not too close). Even nicer inside. Beautiful, newly renovated, comfortable, artsy with mardi gras, African (American) themed pictures. Hostess included every comfort and amenity you could imagine plus many you didn't know you needed. Everything but the kitchen sink - literally - and supplied enough cups and plates so that you'd never need a kitchen sink to wash them anyway. Even had a fireplace and one of those Alexa robots so you could play music without wasting a second to look things up. In & out was a piece of cake with the punch codes. Perfect privacy, and yet the hostess lives in the next unit over, just in case. It really was the perfect place to stay for our anniversary trip.
