3 Bedroom Place in Boyland

This beautifully renovated federation farmstead consists of 3 separate units. The family unit features a self contained unit with high backed claw foot bath, colonial style furnishings, lounge and dining areas.
Our property is a large 100+ year old farmhouse, it's made up of 3 separate units. The Family Unit has 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, bathroom and lounge. Guests share a large deck that overlooks the pool and the property.
The Family Unit can sleep up to 8 people
Master bedroom - queen bed
Kids bedroom - 4 single beds (double bunk configuration)
Lounge - double bed futon
The unit is totally self sufficient.
The house is surrounded by 55 acres, you can go bush walking or simply relax on the verandah overlooking the property. The 15 metre swimming pool is very inviting.
We are ideally situated close to the local wineries and numerous art and craft galleries of the Tamborine/Canungra area. You may like to just stroll around the Canungra township, or go for a day trip to O'Reillys and do the tree walk.
There's plenty to do around the Canungra Valley and the Gold Coast is only 40 minutes away
Horse riding can be booked for you with Thunderbird Park or Gumnuts horse riding complexes - both are only 10 minutes from our property.
If you are an early starter, you can go to the track with Steve and watch the horses go through their paces - but you need to be up at 2 a.m.
Magpie Creek Farmstay is the home of up and coming race horses. Trained by property owner Steve Field, these horses are learning to go the distance
Guests are also welcome to come and feed the horses early in the morning and again at about 4p.m. in the afternoon, the kids love doing this, filling the feed buckets, learning about the horses and throwing out the hay.
There are chickens to feed - eggs to collect and lots of wild life just living their best life on the farm.
For those guests who just want to relax, you will enjoy sitting on the deck, reading a book, watching the kids swim in the pool.
If you want a little exercise, a walk up the hill and back down again takes about 20 minutes and is great for getting back to nature.
Many guests come to stay because of our close proximity to Mount Tamborine, Canungra and the Gold Coast, using the farm as the quiet place to stay in between daily visits to the noisy theme parks and hustle and bustle of the Gold Coast.
We provide all the linen and towels, the units are totally self catering - guests bring their own food and drink. There's a BBQ on the deck, a fridge and frying pan and microwave oven in the unit.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay! The kids loved helping with the horses and chickens. There is so much to do on this beautiful property and plenty of space for everyone in the house. We would love to come and stay again, hopefully for longer next time!

Summary: Steve and Jenny were fantastic hosts. The kids loved all the animals, helping feed the horses and collecting sticks from around the farm to use in the outdoor chimnea fire pit for toasting marshmallows! With all the activities at Tambourine Mountain just a short drive away, this was a perfect place to come back and relax.

Summary: We did not regret our stay at all. Really love the premise, the hosts and they were so hospital and really shared their life experiences in farming with us and our little ones. We learnt so much and thank you for going out of the way to coach our little ones and giving them the working farm experiences. Hope to come back again!!

Summary: Our families had a wonderful time relaxing at Jenny and Steve's farm. The kids loved swimming and feeding the horses, and we were close to some amazing day trip locations. Jenny and Steve are the best hosts as well, couldn't find a nicer couple

Summary: We enjoyed our time at this property. The kids loved the farm and being around all the animals. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. The property was comfortable but lacking some basic amenities. There are little to no cooking facilities- only a bbq, microwave and electric frypan. Dinner was difficult to cook. There is no shower, only a bath. The bedding was not really warm enough considering the cold nights. But we still enjoyed the couple of days we had there.

Summary: We had a fabulous time. The children (6 + 8) helped feed the chickens, let them out and put them to bed every day as well as collect the eggs. We all helped feed and look after the horses, which was a wonderful and educational experience. Our hosts were so welcoming and we all loved it. Planning to return later this year.
