Positive: The house has all modern facilities and is located in the heart of the village and is close to everything. The house is a very comfortable stay.
Negative: Sometimes it was difficult to get a car park close to the house. The village is very popular for tourist and the car parks close to the house can be taken during the day.

Positive: A nice large property, well equipped and clean. We enjoyed the quirky master suite in the basement! Very conveniently located in the centre of the village. Domme is a beautiful place to stay.
Negative: Parking and driving a challenge. Domme was not what we expected, for the uninitiated its a tourist village and has limited local facilities. Shops and restaurants are tourist prices but some very nice.

Positive: The house was in the center of Domme so easy access to shops and restaurants and Domme is a very pretty village. The owner had left lots of useful information and a resident’s parking permit which proved invaluable as parking in the road next to the property was never available and otherwise parking is in the public car—park just up the road which is paying if you don’t have a permit. Wine had been left for us in the fridge which we appreciated. Everything we needed as equipment in the kitchen was available and the house is nicely decorated. All in all communication with the owner was very good and we enjoyed our time staying there.
Negative: Although the noise of the dehydrator in the downstairs master suite has been mentioned before in other people’s reviews, it is very distracting and does not make for a good night’s sleep as it can not be turned off and just kicks in at various times. Also, the staircase to the upstairs rooms might not be suitable for small children or people who are not particularly agile. Blinds on the windows in the bedrooms would also be appreciated so the rooms can be darkened.

Domme is a beautiful village; our stay felt grand and authentically french. This was our third visit to Dordogne; we are always impressed by this region.
