Summary: The hotel is looking a bit tired. The manager was terrible. Rude. Imposed himself on his staff. I felt sorry for his team and it left a sour taste. I asked to upgrade 1 of the 2 nights i was there and he kept being rude about it. I was just trying to have a nice evening with my wife whilst she was in London.

Summary: I loved my time at this hotel and the surrounding Charterhouse Square area. Everyone on staff was very kind, and the room itself was clean and modern held to a very high standard. The hotel’s location is amazing in you’re looking to stay just outside the hustle and bustle of the city center.

Summary: The hotel is situated between Barbican and Farringdon stations, which made it a great location. It is also next to the Charterhouse which has a great museum and courtyard. The hotel room itself was spacious and clean and most importantly quiet. My only issue was the shower - the water didn’t get very hot and I was shivering during most of my showers because there was no shower door that could be closed, leaving me exposed and cold. The shower head was a rainfall one, so I felt like I was drowning most shower. Other than that, the stay was great.

Summary: A quiet and historic corner of London. Staff were extremely friendly and rooms well appointed. They were too dark for me however. We needed late food post theatre which they did supply quickly but it is a very limited menu. We would stay again.

Summary: Nice room booked at the very last second (missed train!). Room was pleasant but the bathroom was disappointing: the sink didn’t have any running cold water.
