Positive: A wonderful birthday stay and a fantastic first experience of both Oman and Mandarin Oriental. The staff made me feel so welcome, with thoughtful personal touches and a level of care that made the whole stay feel special. The club lounge was a highlight. The team were warm and attentive, and the chef took great care to provide suitable canapés and food once he knew I was gluten-free. I really appreciated that attention. The pool staff were equally attentive and made relaxing by the pool a pleasure. I also loved the location and being able to walk along the beach. Thank you to the whole team for such a memorable stay. I would happily recommend the hotel.
Negative: The bed was a little firm for my preference, although the pillows were great. A choice of pillow types would have been a lovely addition, particularly a memory foam option. I would also have appreciated sparkling water in the room. Small touches that would have made an already wonderful stay even more comfortable.

Positive: The room was breathtaking, such amazing views from our balcony. We had beach access which was so beautiful and convenient. Hotel is located in a great area and the hotel was beautifully designed. Would defo recommend any one to stay here!
Negative: Nothing to fault at all!

Positive: Generally excellent. However, some of the facilities ; auto blinds, wireless telephone, limited lighting options were less than efficient.
Negative: High standard generally. Good aesthetic design. Beautiful pool.

Positive: The national Omani staff very friendly and welcoming. The lobby and tea room is great with nice view and delicious selection.
Negative: Spa runs by one lady, not professional at all. No Sauna or indoor pool for ladies, only steam room available and no stuff to support inside ladies section. Very late turnoff curtains in rooms every day they come after 8:00PM.
Summary: Was good in overall, first visit to Muscat. I’ve been to MO Dubai, Riyadh and Doha. This one was not the great level as
