2 Bedroom Cabin in Tinonee

Mansfield on the Manning is a boutique rural retreat just 3 hours north of Sydney. Set in 16 acres on the banks of the Manning River, this tranquil resort has 3 self-contained properties to suit couples, families and small groups.
Grevillea Cabin2 has a spacious open plan living room and dining room and a well equipped kitchen with fridge, Smeg oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine, cookware, crockery, cutlery, dinnerware and glasses.
There is a Queen size ensuite bedroom on the ground floor, with french doors on to the wraparound deck, and 2 king single beds up in the loft.
All bedding and towels are provided and lovely toiletries in the bathroom.
There is a flat screen TV, radio and free wifi as well as reverse cycle heating/aircon.
The Cabin has a wraparound deck with further outdoor seating, outside dining and a Weber bbq. The Cabin also has its own firepit and seating area for enjoying sundowners and toasted marshmallows.
We provide a welcome gift on arrival, with homemade biscuits and eggs from our free-range chickens when available. Milk and a good selection of teas, coffees and condiments are available in the Cabin.
There is a beautiful new, heated guest guest swimming pool just outside the cabin
and direct access to the river - for fishing and kayaking. there is a huge lawn area for your kids and pets to enjoy as well as a bocce court and table tennis table.
There is also Banksia Cabin1 and 3-bedroom Wattle Cottage which sleeps up to 8.
We are just a 5 minute drive from the Pacific Highway, but a million miles away from the stresses of the City. 10 minutes also gets you to Taree and 15 minutes to Wingham with independent shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants.
We're a 18 minute drive from Old Bar Beach. Famed for it's fantastic surfing and laid back charm, this beach is totally unspoilt and is ideal for surfers and families alike. Beautiful Saltwater, Diamond and Blackhead Beach are only a few minutes further.
We are less than 1km from the renowned Kiwarrack Mountain Bike Forest Trail.

Summary: The cabin is situated on beautifully kept grounds, with a heated swimming pool that my kids loved. There were kayaks to go kayaking on the river, bowls and a ping pong table. Big grounds for kids to run around. Clean cabin. They only thing I would say is that the downstairs window as well as the loft window don’t have shades to draw down - so it gets very bright early in the morning, meaning the kids who slept in the loft were up very early. Other than that, it’s the perfect stay and we will be back.

Summary: We loved our stay at Mansfield on the Manning. A stunning setting and the generous grounds are beautifully kept. The outlook from the cabin is so pretty with lots of privacy. There is so much to do in the area, mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, beach time and every day we'd look forward coming back to the delightful pool. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Summary: Beautiful little house and surrounds. On arrival we received a lovely welcome basket with bread l, cookies and milk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Couldn’t recommend this place more for a little Getaway.

Summary: Just spent 3 nights in cabin 2 with our 2 pooches. Was a very relaxing stay on a beautiful property. Cabin perfect size for us. Beautiful views off the verandah. Lots of lovely touches that made the stay welcoming and comfortable- hamper with fresh bread, milk and cookies. Nice toiletries provided, comfy bed, bbq, Sam but well stocked kitchen, bbq on verandah, excellent wifi signal, smart tv. Lawn games and table tennis to use, kayaks also! Pool up at main house with stunning views across the river, great place to bob around in the water taking it all in! Only open 10-5pm for guests but that was fine for us. If I lived in that fabulous house I’d want the deck to myself in the evenings! Taree 10 minutes drive. Dog friendly beaches within 30 mins drive - old bar and diamond beach where the pooches cooled off in the water. Only thing I would suggest is a more sturdy gate off the cabin verandah to keep the dogs from escaping. We have a 9 month old who loves to escape and explore! Would definitely return and recommend to friends. Thanks for a lovely few days in your private part of paradise!

Summary: The well equipped and spacious cabin was private, nicely designed and very comfortable. The cabin opens out to an expanse of green to stroll by the river. Highly recommend a cup of tea or a glass of wine by the lagoon to watch the abundant bird life and unwind at the end of the day. Suzie is a very welcoming and delightful host.

Summary: We had a lovely stay with Neil and Suzie in the Lagoon Cabin. It is well appointed for a couple with a loft for additional accommodation (not suitable for small children as the ladder is steep). Our welcome bag of eggs, milk, bread and biscuits was a nice touch and there was plentiful wood supplies to crank up the big fire pit. It was a cold winter weekend when we stayed and the aircon only heats the bedroom so you’ll need some extra layers if staying in winter. Oh and the walk around the property will satisfy any mutt!
