Mansfield on the Manning is a boutique rural retreat just 3 hours north of Sydney. Set in 16 acres on the banks of the Manning River, this tranquil resort has 4 self-contained properties to suit couples, families and small groups.
This unique 31' American Airstream has been beautifully restored and decorated to provide contemporary accommodation with retro charm. It has a private Queen size bedroom, shower, separate wc, lounge/dining area with a double size sofa bed, plenty of storage space and a really well equipped kitchen with full size Smeg fridge, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine, quality cookware, crockery, cutlery, dinner-ware and glasses. There is Aircon/heating in the bedroom and a fan in the living area.
All bedding and towels are provided and there are organic toiletries in the bathroom.
There is a large flat screen TV/DVD, radio, free wifi, lots of books, games and DVD's for kids and adults. The Airstream is beautifully decorated and features personal touches throughout.
The Airstream is completely private and overlooks the Manning River and gets the most amazing sunsets on this side of the property. It also has its own firepit for enjoying sundowners and toasted marshmallows.
We provide a welcome pack for your arrival, with bread, biscuits, eggs from our free-range chooks, milk and there is a good selection of teas and coffees in the Airstream.
There is direct access to the river - for swimming, fishing and kayaking and the properties are set in over 16- acres and each is totally private.
There are also 2 cabins which each sleep up to 4 and a 3-bedroom Cottage which sleeps up to 8. This is the perfect location for big group get togethers, sleeping up to 22 in the 4 properties.
Guests can also help themselves to fruit and vegetables from our veggie gardens.
We are just a 10 minute drive from the Pacific Highway, but a million miles away from the stresses of the City. 10 minutes also gets you to Taree and Wingham with independent shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants.
We're a 15 minute drive from Old Bar Beach. Famed for it's fantastic surfing and laid back charm, this beach is totally unspoilt and is ideal for surfers and families alike.
We are less than 1km from the renowned Kiwarrack Mountain Bike Forest Trail. Spend your day in the forest and your night round the bbq and fire pits at Mansfield on the Manning.

Summary: Fantastic host and beautiful property. Very private and peaceful. We spend a lot of time on the mountain bike tracks as the Kirrawak Mountain Bike park is very close by. Would recommend this accomodation as it was fun and quirky

Summary: We loved our stay on the manning River in this beautiful airstreamer. The inside was comfy, clean & had everything we needed. The host were new and super lovely allowing us to use the canoes & bikes. I would definitely return, the property is absolutely stunning & well kept. My only flaw if I had to pick one was the outdoors of airstreamer needs fixing, my that I mean new furniture etc as its a bit run down & a water proof cover for those rainy days. Otherwise it would be beyond 5 star. Thank you so much for the enjoyable stay & delish free range eggs.

Summary: This stay surpassed all expectations. The Airstream was wonderful and had everything we needed. The owner of the property made fresh sourdough bread and home made passionfruit butter which were in the camper for our arrival. He bought us firewood for the firepit, and fresh eggs from their hens. We also ordered dinner through them which was bought to the camper and it was absolutely delicious! This stay is also 100% dog friendly, our spaniel just roamed free and enjoyed every second of it and the beautiful views of the water! This place is a must stay!

Summary: My partner and I felt so privileged to stay at Jane and Neil’s delightful property. Right on the bank of the Manning, it’s a cinch to take your kayak to the water (or use one generously provided by your hosts !) We were on the water- or in it- most days; or travelling about to the myriad pretty sites within easy cooee. We highly recommend sampling from the provided menu, as the proportions were generous and the fare high quality. We really felt well looked after, yet blessedly private- a balance not easy to achieve. To top it off, not only was everything we needed as guests provided: linen, towels, bread, milk eggs, good quality coffee and tea (and the list is longer than this), the design touches and quirky charm of the airstream truly highlight the thought and care underpinning what will be a unique accommodation experience. From my point of view, I imagine that our hosts have really considered what will make a guest feel satisfied, and then taken it to the next level and aimed to provide homely comfort, individuality and aesthetic charm. Their aim is true! If you love nature and get a thrill from a koala ambling by, if you want to spend your holiday dollars supporting local producers, if you love to have your dog by your side, if you need to soak your tired feet in a meandering river and at the end of the day relax with a home-cooked meal and a satisfying sleep in a comfy bed, look no further, your quest is over. Try it and you’ll return. I know that we will.

Summary: Trailer was great and so was the view and fire at night where we toasted marshmallows. We had a visit from a koala in the afternoon which was very exciting. The trailer was well set up with everything we needed and a good shower as well! The queen bed was very comfortable but the sofa bed is not comfortable for an adult. They were very welcoming to our puppy who had a ball running around the large garden. A lovely stay for a few days.

Summary: This was an absolute treat!!! Impeccably presented, with all the good oil! Being out of town , arriving mid afternoon the host delivers farm fresh eggs/bread/Anzac biscuits/passion fruit butter... I was blown away! The Silver Bullet Van was stocked with great coffee-teas-shampoo -everything you could possibly that one forgot to pack. Thank you so much Jane & Neil.
