Positive: Breakfast - great selection, simple, but lots of hot & cold choices. The bedroom was lovely - clean, fresh, and a combination of modern and traditional. (new furniture/bathroom but old closet). The views are lovely.
Negative: We travelled mid October and there was no blankets in the room. This could have been provided as it is a little chilly early mornings.
Summary: Great location, good rooms, very friendly and welcoming staff and good food.

Positive: We had an amazing family holiday in a truly lovely place with exceptionally caring and responsive employees. From the very first moment, you can see and feel how much the staff genuinely care about the service they provide. We arrived after midnight and, to our surprise, were welcomed with facilities that ensured we were fed and comfortable — such thoughtful hospitality! The first couple of days were windy, especially our very first day. Of course, we cannot ask kindness from Mother Nature, but what we did receive was kindness from the hotel. On day one, we received a call from the customer relationship manager, Stefanos, who was incredibly helpful. He took the time to understand our wishes and preferences, and he organised some wonderful trips for the days when the weather wasn’t ideal. Stefanos even arranged an unforgettable boat trip to Crissi Island, which we absolutely loved. Thanks to his guidance, we discovered hidden Greek gems and enjoyed the island from many different perspectives. Stefanos truly made a difference to our holiday, turning what could have been a limitation into an opportunity to explore even more. Once the weather settled, it became the perfect place for a relaxing family holiday. The kids were thrilled with the slides and loved exploring the underwater life in the sea. The WiFi worked perfectly, the food was varied and delicious, and the options were regularly changing. We also enjoyed water sports! 🔥Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. We would definitely recommend this place for families looking for a mix of relaxation, adventure, and genuine hospitality!
Negative: The only small point we noticed was that the evening entertainment was mainly in French — which is perfectly fine, but a translation or some inclusiveness for non-French speakers would make it even better, as otherwise you can feel a little left out.

Positive: · Location is great. The hotel is located on the beach and you can reach the sea in 5 minutes from you room. Room: being a family with 2 kids we have rented a family apartment (2 rooms and a shared bathroom) - which was perfect. It had a huge loge and the sea could be seen on the windows. The beds where comfortable with conditional air, one fridge, TV-s and nothing in addition you could want. Food: our booking was in "all inclusive" mode - so we have enjoyed 3 meals/day. The food was more than enough for all tastes. You could find all type of food and in sufficient quantities and each one can choose how much and what to eat. For sure much more food than you have at home :) Fun: aquatic park - very nice for small kids. The swimming pool - huge enough and with young people to animate the activities and bring more fun to the guests of the hotel. The beach has not sand but small stones - you can walk without dedicated shoes. And it was great that after a bath in the sea to lay down on the beach to be warm by the sun. The hotel representative: GREAT! we have been invites for a meeting with a hotel manager and we have spent a delightful 1 hour. Having a rented car, we have received recommendations for trips and visits in the east of the island. Great tips and ideas and we have appreciated the explanations and the ideas considering that some of the information could not be necessary be found on the internet. Disliked · I have nothing to complain about. Just to copy a piece of advice received and which represent also what I consider: in case you look something to complain, than you can probably find something; but if you find one or more things you like if you focus on them, than the positive aspects overtakes and overshine everything else.

Positive: Our room was quite spacious, with large terrace overlooking the pool area, we really liked that. Bathroom was large with comfy walk-in shower. Beach is nice, with crystal clear water and enough sunbeds and umbrella so no need for "towel race" :-). Restaurant has enough tables so there were no queues, plus the sea view is nice.
Negative: The hotel does not meet 5* standard. If it was ranked 4*, I would be nicer. I missed the 5* treats like real orange juice, not the aweful postmix sugary water in the colour of the fruit, and egg bar where you can order e.g. omelettes. Fruit offer at breakfast was disappointing. Bread variety was good, though. For lunch and dinner, we always found something to eat, but especially the meat offer was not good, I mostly ate vegetables and feta cheese, sometimes fish was nice. The sweet bar was good. Drinks were mediocre - local pseudo-cola light was really bad. Unfortunately we could not complete our stay because of the wildfire blaze nearby, we had to evacuate - and this is what I have many complaints about - how this was treated by hotel stuff. Upon the first rapid alarm warning at noon, receptionists assured us there was no risk, everything was allegedly fine. When I asked about potential evacuation plan, they were unable to answer, had absolutely no idea... A few hours later, the evacuation was necessary and there was chaos, no information... Finally, when I could see orange flames behind the hill, I decided to evacuate myself and my girls on my own, paid for taxi and for another hotel. Of course, hotel would not reimburse us for the 3 unused days so it cost me a lot. I understand the fire was not their fault, but I do not like such treatment.

Positive: We had a great stay at Mare Blue Hotel! I especially want to highlight the incredible help from the hotel’s guest relations manager, Stephanos. When my son hurt his toe, Stephanos immediately called a doctor and even followed us to the clinic just across the road. He stayed with us until the doctor arrived and was incredibly friendly and supportive throughout. His kindness truly made a difference. The hotel staff overall are also very friendly and helpful. The hotel has its own private beach with crystal clear water just next to the hotel – a perfect place to relax. The food was varied and the French animation team added a fun and lively atmosphere to the stay. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would definitely recommend Mare Blue to others.
Negative: It can be a bit windy at times, but otherwise the beach is beautiful.

Positive: The staff were really polite and friendly - there was a relaxed atmosphere about the hotel. You could see that it was really well maintained and very clean as the staff were readily available throughout the day. Beautiful surroundings, great facilities. Everything super clean, comfortable rooms and a great view from the balcony in sea view rooms. The hotel has its own beach with sun-beds and umbrellas as well as swimming pools. Sunbeds and umbrellas available at all times. On the beach there are different water sports available. The food was excellent all around. Lots of choices in the buffet restaurant. All-inclusive program is top-notch (with high quality food and drinks all included in the price)
Negative: SMOKING every place, on the beach, on the balcony, on the evening at piano bar. What can do people who is not smoking. We paid the same money. I think the management need to think about this and try to accommodate not smoking tourist to. This resort have a lot of potential to do this: separate the room on the building(left side not smoking right for smoking) - just example, same the beach area and the bar.

Positive: The hotel has a lot of potential, we stayed in the refurbished rooms and they were nice. My son loved the mini golf The water/beach is one of our favorites Food for all inclusive had a lot of choices (salads could do with a bit more variety) but all in all it was good
Negative: Hotel still needs a lot of work New room but they have kept some of the old furniture Spa staff (they are not part of the hotel but very rude they spoiled the work of the rest of the staff that were so polite and friendly)
Summary: We love the area will give it another go next year
