This beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable space is 600 square feet, has one bedroom with a queen size bed, a fully stocked kitchen with a dishwasher, bathroom with shower and tub, spacious living room with a sleeper sofa, dining area in the kitchen and an outdoor deck complete with table, chairs and a gas grill. Enjoy some meals on the deck! The views of the Indian River are simply amazing. The living space is located on the top floor of the house as shown in the photos - please note that you must be able to safely navigate a flight of stairs.
Located within a small marina, which is the home of a busy, seasonal kayak and paddleboard rental business, it is the perfect place to go kayaking or paddleboarding! From Memorial Day to Labor Day, the use of two kayaks or paddleboards each day during your stay (2 hours per day), are included in the nightly price – weather permitting.
You will be within walking distance of the Clinton train station, Cedar Island Marina and several restaurants, as well as a 30 minute drive from Yale, a 45 minute drive from the casinos. Two lovely, well-known spas (Water's Edge and Saybrook Point) are a short 15-20 minute drive away. Hammonasset State Park (beautiful beach) is a 10 minute drive. The neighborhood has sidewalks for easy, safe walking to restaurants, the town marina, or just an evening stroll.

Summary: The place is clean, well designed and comfortable. Chris and Anne are nice and helpful owners. Great location and good parking also. And, owners are fun to be arround. We had a few questions and they were pleased to answer them for us. They gave us info, too, about the community. Checking in was easy. Enjoyable and we strongly recommend to others.

Summary: What an incredible experience. Booked based on the ratings and all the reviews and this property/ location did not disappoint!! Chris and Anne are fantastic hosts and both went out of their way to introduce themselves. The kayaking experience was definitely a bonus and some fantastic exercise. This is a scenic location, easily drivable to Old Saybrook and beautiful Mystic CT. If we come back, with would like to stay again. This cottage is a prefect place for couples and arguably one of the top VRBO we have stayed. Thanks for the great stay. Mike and Suzie.

Summary: In visiting family for Memorial Day/birthday celebration and wanted to stay close to the family. Hotels were too far and we found this Ann and Chris's Indian River front property. It was our first time at a VRBO property and it did not disappoint!! Clean, quiet and quaint my husband and I had a marvelous time and will definitely be back!!

Summary: We spent ten days at the guest house. The location, close to the center of town, was perfect and we walked to the town dock and restaurants. We have stayed in several VRBOs and this is one of our favorites, we will definitely return on our next trip up to Connecticut!

Summary: This place is a slice of heaven! Spotless, cozy, and the pictures don’t do it justice. Our hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating and were very thoughtful. We were in town for a family funeral and the accommodations were perfect. We loved the views over the marsh and we had everything we could have needed and more. We can’t wait to come back in the warmer months.

Summary: Ann and Chris are the best hosts and the apartment is lovely. I so enjoyed being right on Indian River and watching the sunrises. Every amenity was available and I know if I needed anything else Chris or Ann would have made it happen. I highly recommend but want to come back, so I hope too many people don’t rent this awesome place (only kidding!). Thanks so much Ann and Chris!
