Positive: Perfect location, close to beaches and sites of interest Kindness and availability of staff Size of the room, big and comfy the masseria overall is very nice
Negative: Food was quite disappointing: low variety of dishes for dinner and low quality breakfast (frozen pastries / packed cakes) While our stay was overall pleasant, there were a couple of aspects that left us slightly disappointed. At the pool, there was no supervision or intervention regarding some inconsiderate parents who allowed their child to scream continuously. Of course, the responsibility lies with the parents, but a bit more oversight from the staff could have helped ensure a more relaxing atmosphere — especially considering that at this price point, one expects total tranquility. In addition, the value for money was not entirely convincing. For what we paid, we feel that we should have received a little more, particularly in terms of the food experience.

Positive: This is a hidden gem, the pool was sublime and the whole property was immaculate. The restaurant is exceptional using the highest quality ingredients and presented beautifully. I didn't want to finish eating every mouthful was delicious. Marco and team were so friendly and chatty giving insights into the local area and details about the wines I tried. The breakfast was so fresh and so much to choose from. I really did not want to go home.

Positive: Impeccably renovated, close to everything but still in your own bubble of peace and silence. The hosts will delight you with the story of the house, will tell you where to go (and not to go) and serve an absolutely amazing breakfast, which is topped only by the dinner. The pool is fantastic, proper depth and size for a real swim.
Negative: We couldn't stay long enough!

Positive: La Millenaria is a very beautifully restored Masseria, air conditioned, and well located between Lecce and Otranto. A lot of small villages nearby, also on the beach. San Foca, for example, is less than a 5-minute drive away. Beautiful and large swimming pool. Very extensive and beautifully presented breakfast. Hosts Annalisa and Marco are very friendly and helpful, also with tips for visits anywhere in Salento.
Negative: Nothing. Enkel de WiFi haperde regelmatig, wellicht door de dikke muren. Dat is een detail.
