Located along the popular central lake village of San Siro and just a 10 minute drive from the famous resort town of Menaggio, this beautifully presented duplex apartment makes for the perfect getaway for groups and couples!
The apartment is one of 16 in an exclusive residence with shared swimming pool and secure entry.
Guests can feel right at home in this luxury apartment, which boasts fabulous views and features. To the lower floor a bright and spacious open plan living area looks directly out towards the breath taking lake and is furnished to a high contemporary taste with a stylish modern cream chesterfield sofa and leather snug chair with a flat screen TV for guests entertainment.
An indoor dining area can comfortably sit four and the outside sunny balcony terrace provides a lake view alfresco dining area ideal for accommodating additional guests for a long lunch or star lit dinner party!
A fully fitted kitchen with polished granite top provides all the desired appliances with a gas hob oven and all the up to date appliances.
The accommodation is completed by two newly fitted bathrooms. Bathroom one which is on the upper floor boats a power shower and WC and washing machine. Bathroom two features just a WC.
The upper floor of the apartment also boasts a romantic ambient feel from the sloping exposed beamed ceiling. The spacious master bedroom is furnished to an equally high standard with a comfortable double bed and fitted wardrobes for useful storage options. Summary: Views were absolutely amazing, had a phenomenal time staying at this property. Location was great to get to Mennagio to take the ferry to the other local towns.

Summary: Pros: View from Deck, View from Living Room, View from Master Bedroom Cons: Misleading Listing: 1. It says air conditioned. There is a unit in 1/3 of the apartment. The rest has no air conditioning and not even any fans. Very Stuffy and uncomfortable 2 of the evenings we were there. 2. Totally misnamed "Mastena Elegante". Honestly there is nothing elegant about the property. It's a mish mash of decor, filled with unnecessary nick naks that simply collect dust. Much closer to yard sale than elegant. 3. Washer is not in the bathroom, it's in the garage 2 flights down dark stairs. The dryer cycle does not work. Kudos for a link to a video on how to use the washer. But does not work as presented in the video. 4. No guide to the apartment, where to find wifi password, how to get into the impossible to manuever garage, recommended restaurants or groceries. Nada. You are on your own. 5. Pool is nice but no loungers to lay down on.
