Summary: This is an exceptional property set in a beautiful rural location with exquisite views over landscaped gardens. It is so peaceful that you feel as though you’re miles from anywhere when you’re actually only 2km (a lovely walk!) from the town boundary. The cottage is incredibly well set up with everything you might need and Shona and Tony are fantastic hosts - friendly and helpful, and on hand if you need anything. We booked the cottage at short notice for a quick retreat after a busy week, and we only had two days free, but we would definitely have stayed longer otherwise. The memory of sitting on the lovely wide deck, soaking up the view, breathing in the country air, inhaling the fragrance of the garden and listening to the birdsong (I forgot to mention the host of NZ native birds that grace the gardens!) will sustain us for a long time…and we’ll be back!

Summary: It was very pleasant accommodation. The host was so good and friendly. She even offered us dinner and was very good in communicating about a party next door. Its a beautiful location and perfect getaway from city hustle.we will come back.
