Positive: Lovely, comfortable apartment in a quiet location with river views. Cute little restaurants, local bakery and 7/11 all close by. Recommend if you're looking for something out of the hustle & bustle. The walk to/from town (without luggage) is really nice - about 10 - 15 minutes.
Negative: It was a bit further from the train & bus station than we were expecting, especially with all our luggage. Would recommend a local taxi/Uber when travelling with your luggage. Access to a washer/dryer is great but the dryer doesn't work very well - be prepared for multiple cycles.

Positive: Great location, walkable into town, and view out of the window. Good kitchen facilities and bathroom. Wonderful izakaya 'Daichan' just down the road for dinner.
Negative: The bedding layout didn't really work. To fit 3 futons along the tatami as shown in the room map meant that one always kind of hung off the edge. The upstairs room was too hot if the common room was warm enough because the middle floor is open into the top.

Positive: Fantastic location and plenty of space. We arrived in the middle of a storm, with landslide warnings and notifications to prepare for evacuation, which was a bit concerning for us. However the host was really responsive and reassuring around what to do.
Negative: If I had to be picky, something to black out the light in the mornings would be good. However overall really happy with this property and would recommend it as this is easily solved with a sleep mask!
