Looking for a quiet getaway within the city limits? Come experience this beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bathroom in Birmingham with a fenced in backyard perfect for kids and pets alike! Enjoy a little Southern front porch sitting while enjoying the outdoors. Enjoy a beautifully appointed modern kitchen, with thoughtful modern touches and decor throughout the home. Just minutes to the airport and local restaurants, and a short ten minute drive or ride to downtown Birmingham.
The Space:
As you walk from the driveway to the front of the house you will have 4 steps to reach the main entrance.
The Main Entrance: Has a lockbox to the right of the front door. Punch in the 4 digit code to open the lockbox. Retrieve key and use to gain access to the property.
In house to the Left:
The living room has 1 Queen sleeper sofa, 1 Sofa, coffee table. 2 end tables, 2 lamps and 50 inch Roku Smart TV.
In house to the Right:
You have Bedroom#1 (Master Bedroom) which has 1 King bed, 2 end tables, 2 lamps, closet, also there is a fireplace that is for decorative purposes only and is not functioning .
Master Bedroom Straight Ahead to the Right:
Will take you to Bathroom #1
Which is a full bathroom with a shower and tub.
Master Bedroom Straight Ahead will take you Bedroom #2:
which has 2 Full beds, 2 end tables, 2 lamps, and a 3 drawer dresser.
From Bedroom#2 Straight Ahead will take you to Bedroom #3:
Which has Queen Bed, 2 end tables, 2 lamps, and a 3 drawer dresser.
From Bedroom#3 to your Right lead to Bathroom#2:
Which is a small size full bathroom with a shower only.
From Bedroom#3 to your Left:
Will take you to the washer and dryer in the rear of the house.
From Bedroom#3 Straight Ahead:
Will take you to the rear door of the house which will take you to the backyard that is fenced and has bbq for quest convenience.
Something to note, there is a train that runs close to the house. For most of our guests, and for us, this has never been a problem, but if you are someone who is sensitive to train noise, you might consider ear plugs, a sound machine, or booking elsewhere :)

You will have access to the full house! The house has a digital combo lock pad. We will provide you with the code 24 hours upon check-in.

This is a residential area, so we recommend self-driving, but Uber and Lyft are available in the area

We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 21 years of age to book.
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

Summary: The place was clean and fresh when we arrived but there were no towels and wash clothes. These were supplied after we contacted the host but we had to wash them before we could use them as they brought new unwashed. We chose this property specifically because it said it has a fenced-in backyard and we have a small dog. But there was a gaping hole in the back fence that the host assured us would be fixed on day two of our 5-day stay. It was not fixed on the second day but she assured us that their handyman would put a new panel in on the third day. Upon arrival back on the third day I discovered that this "new panel" consisted of two rotten boards haphazardly leaned against the fence with a rotten stump sitting in front of it. Even after sending the host a video of me slightly shaking the fence and the rotten boards falling over, she assured me that that was the best that their handyman could do and that he said it was sufficient to keep dogs in. This of course prevented us from being able to let our dog run freely in the backyard for the entirety of our 5-day stay. Only after requesting it did they refund a very small portion of the price. The air conditioning was turned off so we entered a sweltering humid 84° house. The house and property certainly was not prepared for our stay. The host was very responsive when I communicated with them but our stay unfortunately fell far below our expectations of a five-star stay.

Summary: I’m sure this house was super clean according to the other reviews listed. After driving around the area, we decided this was not the best fit for our family. We ate the cost and found another rental. I’d suggest researching the area well to make sure the home is the right fit for your stay. There were some paperwork struggles to get check-in info as well. It was an error on my part, but they weren’t budging on their rules- so make sure all of your paperwork is completed ahead of time. They were responsive to my inquiries when I emailed them.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay in Birmingham. The property was very spacious and well decorated and very comfortable. The location was excellent as far as being close to most of the attractions that we wanted to visit while we were in Birmingham. The only downside was that the front door was very difficult to open and close. Otherwise we had a great time and I would stay there again.
