The Coach House is a detached converted barn with a private & secure garden. The cottage has been sympathetically restored, retaining its many original features. The property provides a double bedroom, twin bedroom and superking (or twin) bedroom, family bathroom & downstairs shower room. Open plan kitchen & lounge. Secure private garden with flag-stoned patio.
- Detached barn conversion with private garden.
- The property is on our family farm - we have 135 acres. You are welcome to immerse yourselves in our farm and we have a 3km walk through the fields. You will see cows, sheep, horses and chickens. We live on site and can answer any questions you have about farming life!
- The Coach House sleeps 6 (one double room and two twin rooms). One of the twin rooms can be made up to a superking bed (please request when you book).
- Two bathrooms - ground floor shower room with WC. First floor bathroom with bath and WC.
- Parking adjacent to the property. Please let us know if you have more than 2 cars.
- Private lawned garden. Rear patio area with table, chairs and BBQ.
- Dogs welcome - we charge £25 per dog per stay. Payable upon arrival or we can add this payment via Airbnb.
- All bed linen and towels provided.
- Central heating with underfloor heating at ground floor.
- Fibre broadband / Wi-Fi is provided. The internet speed is suitable if you need to work from the property.
- Smart TV in the living room (Netflix compatible). Selection of DVDs & games.
- Hairdryer x 2
- Nespresso coffee machine (takes original Nespresso pods).
- Fridge /freezer, toaster, kettle, microwave, oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, washing line, vacuum cleaner, iron, ironing board.
- Crockery and cutlery for dining up to 12 people.
- Kitchen utensils and saucepans provided.
- Gas BBQ with gas supplied.
- Kitchen basics provided - salt/pepper, teabags, sugar, fresh milk.
- Cleaning products provided - washing up liquid, bin bags, dishwasher tablets, dishcloths.
- Bathroom products provided: toilet paper and hand soap
- Cot, highchair and stair gate available.
Outside, there is a secure garden with car parking. We have a flag-stoned patio with dining area and barbecue for you to enjoy on warmer days.
The property is on a 135-acre working farm. You are welcome to walk around the grounds and enjoy the surrounding countryside (please ask Sally on arrival for best walking routes). We have cows, sheep and horses on the farm, very popular with children!
Dogs are welcome. There is a charge of £25 per dog per stay.

Summary: We had a great weekend break at Mintridge, Sally is so welcoming and full of local knowledge - she suggested some great places for us to visit! The cottage is very cosy with everything you need for a comfortable stay and it’s amazing to be in such close proximity to the farm animals - we definitely hope to visit again!

Summary: The whole family group really enjoyed our stay in this lovely spacious, comfortable and well appointed converted barn in its picturesque farm location surrounded by beautiful countryside in rural Herefordshire. The friendly owners could not have been more accommodating and helpful during our stay and we would certainly like to return. We would have loved taking advantage of the visitors trail around the farm and seeing more of the cattle, sheep and horses but alas ran out if time.

Summary: Stunning building and location, easy check in and very well equipped accommodation. As a family of six, there was plenty of room for us all. The large garden was a bonus, plenty of room to play outdoor games and relax. The Plough, just a couple of miles away serves fresh homemade food definitely worth a visit..

Summary: Thank you Sally for such a lovely stay. The Coach House is beautiful - it has everything you need and super comfortable. Living on a farm was great fun for the kids - everywhere they looked there were sheep, cows, horses, the odd chicken, and even a tractor! It was a great choice for a peaceful stay in the heart of the countryside.

Summary: Our stay was primarily for a wedding at Bredenbury barns which was only 3 miles away. Perfect! Communication prior to booking was excellent. Once we’d arrived the keys we’re waiting and Sally couldn’t do enough for us! The property is idyllic, based in the beautiful countryside. It was very well equipped, having more than enough crockery, cutlery, pans etc in the kitchen. The lounge was comfy and spacious. The beds were really comfy and there was lots of wardrobe space. We enjoyed the walk around the farm and our grandson loved seeing the animals. All in all it was just what we needed for relaxation after the wedding.

Summary: Lovely cottage, & a great host. We had 3 couples stay for a wedding and the cottage was perfect. Our dogs were also made welcome. We appreciated the enclosed garden for them. There was lots of utensils and crockery and we enjoyed the scones left for us. Useful to have a ground floor bathroom.

Summary: The Coach House was absolutely perfect for our weekend rental for a friends’ get-together. Immaculately presented with everything you would need and the open ground floor was ideal for 6 to cook & chat. Staying on the farm was so peaceful and Sally is the perfect host - always available if you need. We rented a hot tub which was fantastic on the private patio and owners enabled it to be set up in advance of our arrival. We would definitely return. Thank you for everything Sally.
