Located directly on Lac Sinclair, this four-season chalet (built in 2021) offers four seasons view and activities for families to enjoy year 'round.
• Come in the fall and enjoy the lakeview with beautiful fall colors and crisp air from newly installed hot tub to reconnect to nature. Gatineau Park Fall Rhapsody is worth a day trip for a scenic hike with epic views of the colorful foliage. To wind down, you can just take a walk around the cottage surround by beautiful maple trees or simply read a book facing the lake on the couch.
• Cottage is on a private lot, but municipal road is easily accessible in winter time and driveway is cleared by contractor. During the winter months, walking, skating, snowshoeing, snow tubing, and ice fishing on the lake (when well frozen) are just steps away. Skiing and dogsledding are perfect winter outdoor activities nearby (30 mins away). After a hard day at play, soak in the heated Jacuzzi for soothing sore muscles and then watch a good Netflix show with a glass of wine feeling warm and relaxed.
• In the summer time, soak in the sun and paddle out on the water in complimentary kayaks/paddle board from the private dock. Please note that the bottom of the lakeshore is muddy, more suitable for water sports (i.e. kayaking and supping). You can always take kayaks or paddle board provided to swim in the part of the lake where water is deep with sandy bottom (5 mins away from the dock). In the evening, family and friends get together around the camp fire, cook up a feast on the fancy BBQ, catch the stunning lake sunsets, and soak hours away in the hot tub. Plenty of summer activities are not far from the cottage: Wakefield with nice restaurants is 30 mins away; Pontiac golf is 15 mins away; Camp Breton Beach - Lac Philippe in Gatineau Park, Eco-Odyssee Nature Park, Golf Edelweiss, bungee jumping, and aerial park/ziplining are 40 mins away; Downtown Ottawa/Gatineau (with several nice museums, restaurants, casino, and ByWard Market) are 1 hr away.

Summary: Perfect for a weekend getaway! Place was great, kids had fun. Nice that it was only an hour from Ottawa. Would love to visit again in the summer!

Summary: Very clean property with the exception of the bbq. The property was listed that it sleeps 10 but there are beds for only 9 people and although we were 10, we only had 9 towels. I would also highly recommend better sleeping mattresses, all of us found the beds uncomfortable. The individuals that did sleep on the couch said that the couches were more comfortable than the beds. Overall, we had everything we needed and were very pleased with the added touches of the water bottles and towels on each of the bed and that it was very clean.

Summary: The cottage was absolutely stunning and was perfect for our little group getaway, with all the amenities. The cottage was very clean and the hot tub was immaculate. The only inaccuracy was the waterfront and how muddy or swampy the water was in front of the cottage. I would not recommend using a paddleboard and it was very difficult to paddle the kayaks past the heavy mud.

Summary: All the family members enjoyed this very nice weekend of May. We could use the kayaks and enjoyed the spa. The house was very clean and very functional. It is good to mention to the guests to bring their dish towels as there were none available. There is a very important notice of the owner to not to swim around the quay since it is very muddy and deeper than it seems.

Summary: Two couples, four kids and there was more than enough room for us all. Very clean, the host was very responsive to questions before and during our stay. The property for the most part is as listed, though there is no dishwasher even though it's listed as such. Additionally, no dish cloths for drying dishes which pushed us to use paper towels for that endeavor. Only other negative was the lack of a broom as we like to clean up after ourselves. Otherwise would stay again and would encourage others to do so. Tips: Roads are well sanded/salted leading to the cottage so getting in/out is not a problem. Great BBQ. There are sleds provided (we even made a safe hill for the kids to use). Neighbouring cottage is visible from the kitchen, but we didn't see anyone during our stay. Lots of blankets and covers. Sufficient space for food storage. Excellent showers with enough hot water for 8. Strong wifi.
