This is a newly furnished, smoke and pet-free, modern Farmhouse with 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, situated on 22 idyllic acres complemented by privacy and nature. Comfortably sleeps 16 people, located only 60 mins from NYC and the Poconos Mountains. The home is conveniently located just 15 minutes off I-80 (exit 19) near Bear Brook Valley in Fredon Township, NJ. Surrounded by nature and filled with on-site amenities: full-size tennis court with basketball hoop, private pool, gym room, ping pong table, huge entertainment deck, high speed WIFI, outdoor kitchen, fire-pit, linens, towels and daily calls from a variety of local birds.
The surrounding State and local parks, groceries, nearby dining, working farms, apple picking, pumpkin patches, hiking, make it a year-round destination vacation property.

The second level has a generous master suite, full bath and sitting area, two additional over sized bedrooms with pull out sofas and a full bath. A Wi-Fi enabled printer and desk is available for the perfect home office setting.
The lower level has a game room, a ping pong table, a fully equipped home gym, two bedrooms with a shared bathroom.
The outside has a large entertainment focused deck with an outside kitchen, a Viking bbq grill and a pool. The wrap around covered porches and patio provides a great space to sit outside and hear the bird calls. The barn on the premises includes family friendly goats and chickens that you are welcome to interact with. The adjacent wildlife management area invites frequent deer, wild turkey, birds of prey and the occasional bear sighting in and around the property.
*** Note about the animals: The animals are totally separated from the house (so no animal odors), and while you are welcome to interact with them, they will not interfere your stay. They are taken cared for by a caretaker who will not access the house or the surroundings.

Summary: We drove all the way from Alabama’s Gulf Coast for a 4-night stay. The house was beautiful and spacious, just perfect for our family and the family we traveled with. The host was helpful with our questions as to how to best get into NYC…not sure if we’d have figured it out without him! W

Summary: The owner and his sons were at the house to greet us . He was very courteous. The house is huge and along with the pool made for a great stay. John the caretaker was great with the grandkids showing them the goats chickens and dogs. Would definitely rent this house again

Summary: Shamir's property was just what we were looking for. A house with a beautiful pool and enough space to accommodate our family of 12 comfortably which it succeeded. We had children with us and the fact that it had an area with farm animals and playground was a bonus. The pool was beautifully maintained and the house was clean and the rooms were spacious.

Summary: This house was great. Our group consisted of old friend and our families. We wanted a place where we could all get tighter – we did not care too much about what was around since our goal was spending time together (which was a good thing since this house is in the middle of nowhere!). The house is great and HUGE and just a little bit old. The space is great, tons of room and despite really cold temperatures while we were there, the heat was working great! The hot water however was a bit inconsistent and took forever to get hot (especially in the upstairs bathrooms). The beds have super comfy memory foam mattresses and we loved them! Also, all of the bedrooms have extra beds/futons/sofa beds, which was super convenient for all the kids. 2 things that could use improvement: one is the door to the outside in the living room. The handle is broken and the door swings open. I saw another reviewer comment on this so I am wondering why this has not been fixed yet since it was pretty annoying and made the place freezing cold if something was not placed in front of the door to keep it closed. The other thing was randomly the fire alarms went off (and kept going off) during the day. This scared the kids and was really disruptive. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely plan another weekend here (maybe in the summer so we can enjoy the pool!). Also, the vicious guard dogs are so adorable, we wished we could play with them!

Summary: We had 11 family members stay comfortably at this house for our Thanksgiving holiday. Shamiur was a great host and was there when we arrived on Wednesday. We didn't run into any subsequent issues but have no doubt he would have been responsive if we had run into any trouble. The kids loved the outdoor space, visiting the farm animals, and building "camp" fires at night. The house had a few quirks - one of the doors in the living/rec room doesn't latch properly, so it would blow at night and leave the downstairs quite cold if you didn't put a chair or something in front of it, but overall it was great.

Summary: We had the best time at this awesome property! We rented it for a small family reunion (14 people aged 21-64 yrs old), and we all had a blast. The house is old-school with nothing fancy, but it's big and had everything we needed. The property is beautiful and we all enjoyed the farm animals. Where else can you collect your own fresh eggs for breakfast?! The location allowed us to conveniently go rafting, hiking, and spend a day in NYC. I can't say enough good things about the host, either. He was responsive and accommodating. He even did us a favor after we left! I would definitely rent the property again.

Summary: We attended a wedding at Bear Creek and stayed here with our family. Fantastic location, less than a mile from the facility. Great house. Very clean and plenty of space for everyone to get ready. The farm caretaker was very friendly and showed the kids around the animals which was a great treat. Would recommend anyone attending an event at Bear Crewk stay here
