Summary: Staff was on-point, from receptionist to bartender. The queen suite was very clean and well-appointed, with decent sunny views, and unique mid-century styling. Although I didn't use the free hotel bicycles, they are a fun perk that I'll use next time! Also, great location, easy parking situation, and overall well- designed property.

Summary: I’m already thinking of an excuse to come back here! Love the mid century modern touches. The room was spotless and the beds were comfortable. No sad waffles and bad coffee here—the free continental breakfast featured GOOD coffee and homemade granola.

Summary: The Modern is getting a bit long in the tooth these days. Could use some nips and tucks, but overall is a good place to stay and fits the price point.

Summary: loved the complimentary made to order breakfast! the hotel is in a perfect downtown location and the drinks from the bar were amazing. there was some miscommunication between the staff surrounding when guests can use the outside patio space. it was just after 10pm and wanted to play cards outside, one staff member said we could be out there as late as we want to be as long as we were quiet, another employee spotted us and immediately sent us back to our room. weird. we also purchases add-ons (pet fee + bar gift card) and were charged twice for these purchases. I did reached out days later and the hotel was quick to respond and fix this. overall: great location and really good drinks, but not worth the price!! ;)

Summary: Having enjoyed the food and drinks here since it opened, I was eager to actually stay here for the first time. It was just as good as it looked. Very well-kept property, with lots of thought put into the amenities. Rooms were spotless and very comfy. Staff was great. Quiet as well…perfect! Thanks, Modern!

Summary: Unfortunately, our stay was a bit disappointing. Overall, the room was clean, but it had a terrible smell of cigarette smoke, as though someone had smoked in it and the hotel had attempted to clean it afterward. The smell was still very noticeable and unpleasant. The bedding also had a visible stain, and the room felt extremely damp throughout our stay. The staff was friendly enough, but not especially warm or welcoming. The free breakfast was a nice added touch, but the options were very limited. Most items were pre-made and microwaved or served cold, so there wasn't much variety or freshness. Regular coffee was included with breakfast, but specialty lattes and espresso drinks were an additional charge.

Summary: The Bar/Restaurant isn't open Sunday or Monday. And the bathroom doors look cool, but don't offer a ton of privacy with those windows. Excellent location. Friendly staff.
